Blue Ridge Hospice Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) for a full-time remote role. • Conduct comprehensive assessments to diagnose mental health disorders and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs.
• Establish and maintain positive rapport with clients, encouraging open dialogue and trust in the therapeutic relationship.
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions using evidence-based practices to address a range of psychological issues such as anxiety, depression, grief, and relationship challenges.
• Regularly monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to adapt to changes in the client’s condition.
• Provide referrals to specialists and resources, ensuring clients have access to comprehensive care beyond the scope of therapy.
• Integrate feedback from clients and utilize peer consultations to enhance therapeutic effectiveness and improve service delivery.

The LMFT will work with a diverse client base, including individuals dealing with acute stressors, families experiencing transitional challenges, and couples seeking to improve their relationships. Our clients range widely in age and background, requiring a therapist who possesses patience and adaptability to meet the unique needs of each person.

• Active State licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist is required.
• Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field is mandatory.
• Strong understanding of therapeutic modalities, ethical guidelines, and clinical best practices.
• Proficient in telehealth technologies and willingness to utilize virtual tools for client engagement.

• At least two years of experience providing therapy, either individually or in group settings, is preferred.
• Experience working with specific populations, such as children, adolescents, or trauma survivors, will be highly regarded.
• Proven abilities in crisis intervention and conflict resolution in clinical settings.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills to balance caseloads and administrative responsibilities effectively.
