The Virtual Patient Care Technician plays a critical role in Nemours' Virtual Care Operations Center, located onsite at Jacksonville Home Office. Nemours is leading the way in virtual care, rethinking how and where pediatric care is delivered to improve access, safety, and patient experience. • Scheduling & Intake Support: Assist with scheduling, intake processes, and virtual rooming for telehealth visits, ensuring seamless patient experience
  • Collaboration: Communicate effectively with clinical teams, escalate concerns per established pathways, and maintain compliance with HIPAA and Nemours standards
  • Equipment Management: Ensure equipment functionality, report technical issues, and coordinate with IT/biomedical teams as needed. Support logistics of home remote patient monitoring equipment including packing equipment for shipment and restocking

Position Requirements

  • An American Heart Association BLS required within 90 days of hire
  • Certification as a Medical Assistant is preferred
  • Minimum of 6 months in a healthcare setting is preferred; no experience may be acceptable based on manager discretion
