Job description

RTA Outdoor Living | Remote Sales Consultant | $85,000–$150,000+

What if you actually looked forward to opening your laptop on Monday morning? At RTA Outdoor Living, you sell a product people genuinely love, work alongside people who hold you to a high standard, and get paid in direct proportion to how hard you work.

What We Do

RTA Outdoor Living is a fast-growing brand in the outdoor kitchen industry, and we're not slowing down.

We've built proprietary design technology that lets homeowners see their dream outdoor kitchen before they buy. We've earned 900+ five-star Google reviews from customers who didn't just like what they bought, they loved the experience of buying it. We've been featured on Fox News, HGTV, Forbes, and Today.com not because we chased press, but because what we built was genuinely worth talking about.

When you sell for RTA, you're not convincing anyone of anything. You're guiding people toward something they already want and making one of the best decisions of their lives feels easy and exciting.

What This Role Actually Is

You'll run inbound virtual consultations with homeowners who have already raised their hand. No cold calling. No begging for attention. Real people, real projects, real budgets, ready to talk.

Your job is to understand what they want, show them how to get it, and close. We give you the leads, the technology, the training, and a proven process. You bring the drive, the discipline, and the relentless commitment to getting better.

What Your Days Look Like

  • Conduct scheduled virtual consultations and custom design demos
  • Guide customers through the full design and buying process
  • Build genuine relationships that generate referrals and repeat business
  • Own your pipeline, your calendar, and your results
  • Sharpen your craft daily, product knowledge, sales technique, customer experience
  • Show up for your team the way you'd want them to show up for you

What You'll Earn

  • Base salary + uncapped commission: $85,000-$150,000+ annually
  • QSEHRA Health Reimbursement
  • 401(k) with company match
  • Paid time off and holidays
  • Remote flexibility, sell from anywhere in your approved state
  • World-class tools and training provided from day one

Careers Are Built Here

RTA is entering a new phase of growth, and the timing of this hire matters.

We are expanding the sales organization significantly over the next few years, and the people joining now are not just filling seats. They are stepping into a company that is actively building something, with real potential to grow alongside it.

As the team scales, leadership opportunities will emerge. Team lead, sales manager, senior roles are not distant possibilities. For the people who show up, perform consistently, and demonstrate they are ready, those conversations will happen. We are not promising a title. We are saying the door is open and the path is real.

We are not looking for people who want a job. We are looking for people who want to be part of something they will still be talking about ten years from now.

Who We're Looking For

The reps who thrive here share a common DNA. They are:

  • Self-invested: They read, listen, study, and continue to look for ways to grow
  • Competitive: They've lived in performance environments, athletics, sport, leaderboards, and they know what it means to fight for a result
  • Stable: They build at companies instead of bouncing between them, their job history shows growth, not restlessness
  • Coachable: They want to be challenged, they respond to feedback, and they never confuse being good with being finished
  • Proven: They have the numbers, awards, rankings, or records to back up what they say about themselves

This Probably Isn't for You If...

  • You need someone looking over your shoulder to stay motivated
  • You've had five jobs in the past five years and have a different excuse for each one
  • You're looking for a low-pressure environment where average is acceptable
  • You want a salary that doesn't reflect what you actually produce
  • You're content staying where you are and have no interest in growing into leadership

What Our Team Looks Like

Our top performers came from SaaS companies, mortgage desks, home remodeling teams, and insurance agencies. What they have in common isn't where they came from. It's how they show up every single day.

They're coachable. They're competitive. They hold each other accountable without being asked. They sell a product they're genuinely proud of, to customers who are genuinely grateful. And a good number of them are already on track to step into leadership roles as we scale.

That's the culture we've built. Every hire either protects it or dilutes it. We take that seriously.

  • New Hampshire
  • Florida
