Now Hiring: Warehouse Associate - Full Time

Location: Surprise, AZ

Compensation: $16.00 per hour

La-Z-Boy is hiring one exceptional full-time Warehouse Associate for our store in Surprise, AZ. This is much more than your average warehouse associate job, you will be working alongside our Sales Associates, Designers and Store Manager as part of a high-performing team to support La-Z-Boy.

Starting Pay: $16.00

Work Location: 16350 Cactus Rd, Surprise, AZ 85388

Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday

A successful Warehouse Associate candidate will demonstrate the following traits and responsibilities:

• Dependable and on time every day. Our customers and team members are counting on you.
• Team player and Self-starter - You will have the training and mentoring you need. We then trust you to show up on time, ready to work, and get the job done right!
• Must be able to safely lift up to 50 lbs unassisted
• Preference may be given to people with prior distribution center/warehouse or furniture experience
• Receive freight and stock freight
• Pull and prepare furniture for delivery company
• Assist with furniture prep, floor moves, and floor sets
• Assist with tagging
• Maintain lighting and other floor standards
• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized warehouse.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
0-2 years of experience

High School Diploma or GED preferred

Ability to read, write and understand basic instructions
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
OSHA Certification

Weekly Hours:

Benefit offerings to employees and their families include: Medical, Vision, Dental and Basic Life Insurance, available 401k retirement plan with company match of up to 6%. Paid time off includes: 9-11 paid holidays each year, two weeks' prorated vacation as a new hire and either personal time (non-exempt only) or state mandated sick time.
