Job Title: Operations Manager

Location (City, State): Dayton, OH; Parma Heights, OH; Shelby, OH; Toledo, OH

Compensation: $55,000–$75,000 annually (based on experience and location)

Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM, with limited on-call responsibilities.

This leadership role is responsible for overseeing daily operations at an assigned location while driving team performance, operational efficiency, and exceptional service delivery.


Job Description

The Operations Manager will provide hands-on leadership for field operations, ensuring staffing, fleet readiness, employee performance, and compliance standards are consistently met. This position works closely with regional leadership to improve processes, support business growth, and build strong relationships with healthcare partners throughout the community.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the day-to-day operations of an assigned location, ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery.
  • Supervise frontline leadership and staff while providing coaching, performance management, and ongoing development.
  • Manage employee scheduling, staffing levels, and workforce planning to maintain operational coverage.
  • Support recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and employee relations initiatives.
  • Monitor financial performance, assist with budgeting, and oversee operational reporting and payroll accuracy.
  • Ensure vehicles, equipment, and facilities remain clean, safe, and compliant with regulatory standards.
  • Build and maintain relationships with hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, hospice providers, surgery centers, and other healthcare partners.
  • Review operational metrics and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, service quality, and overall performance.
  • Maintain compliance with company policies as well as applicable local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Serve as a reliable resource for leadership and staff, including limited after-hours support when needed.


Qualifications

  • Previous leadership or management experience required; healthcare leadership is strongly preferred.
  • EMS, EMT, or Paramedic experience is highly desirable.
  • Experience in healthcare operations, revenue cycle, billing, cash management, or similar operational environments is a plus.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient with reporting, documentation, and operational performance tracking.
  • Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position as needed.
