The Role
We're looking for an Engineering Manager, Mobile to lead a team building high-quality, performant consumer mobile applications at scale. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who cares deeply about product experience, engineering excellence, team development, and shipping quickly without sacrificing quality. You'll partner closely with Product, Design, and Engineering teams to deliver elegant, scalable mobile experiences across a multi-tenant architecture powering numerous partner apps, while helping shape how modern AI-assisted development practices are integrated into the way we build.
We believe AI is fundamentally changing software engineering, and we're looking for a leader who embraces emerging tools and workflows to help teams move faster, make better technical decisions, improve quality, and operate more effectively across development, testing, debugging, documentation, and delivery.
What You'll Do
  • Lead, mentor, and grow a team of mobile engineers building consumer-facing iOS and Android applications
  • Drive execution across the mobile roadmap while balancing speed, quality, scalability, and maintainability
  • Partner closely with Product and Design to deliver intuitive, polished fan experiences
  • Help evolve our mobile architecture and shared platform strategy across a multi-tenant ecosystem
  • Collaborate with backend and platform engineering teams on APIs, data flows, observability, experimentation, and performance optimization
  • Establish strong engineering practices around testing, CI/CD, monitoring, code quality, and operational excellence
  • Foster a culture of ownership, collaboration, inclusivity, and continuous improvement
  • Leverage modern AI development tools and workflows to improve team productivity, accelerate delivery, and enhance engineering effectiveness
  • Participate in technical design discussions and provide guidance on architecture and long-term technical direction
  • Support recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding efforts as we continue scaling the engineering organization

What You'll Bring
  • 8+ years of software engineering experience, including meaningful experience building and shipping mobile applications
  • 2+ years of engineering management experience
  • Experience with iOS development including Swift and SwiftUI
  • Strong understanding of Kotlin Multiplatform
  • Experience building consumer-facing applications with a strong emphasis on performance, reliability, and user experience
  • Familiarity with scalable architectures, shared codebases, multi-tenant systems, and API-driven applications
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to balance technical depth with business impact
  • Comfort operating in fast-moving startup or high-growth environments
  • Enthusiasm for AI-assisted software development and curiosity about how emerging tools can improve engineering workflows and product development

Nice-to-Have Skills
  • Experience in sports, entertainment, ticketing, e-commerce, or other high-scale consumer products
  • Familiarity with experimentation platforms, analytics, personalization, or engagement systems
  • Experience leading distributed teams or managing teams through periods of rapid growth

Attributes that will make you successful on our team
  • A strong desire to learn. You continually look for ways to build your skills.
  • Tenacity. You enjoy working on challenges that others can't or don't want to tackle and you aren't afraid of failing fast in order to find better solutions.
  • Passion. You love using your technical skills to build products that solve real problems. You hold yourself to a high standard and help to elevate others as well.
  • Empathy. You thrive in an environment where everyone can truly be themselves. You understand that our differing life experiences influence who we are and how we show up, and these diverse perspectives enrich both our team and our product.
  • Customer-centric mindset. You can understand the problem to be solved and who we are solving it for.
  • Innovation: Passion for exploring and implementing AI technologies to enhance automation, optimize workflows, and drive innovation

Benefits
  • Remote first

  • 401(k)
  • Generous medical, dental and vision plans
  • 16 weeks paid parental leave for primary and secondary caregivers
  • $1,000 reimbursement for work-from-home tech setup
