Catholic Health is seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Medical Office Assistant to join our collaborative care team. This hybrid role combines front and back office responsibilities to help deliver exceptional care and support to our patients.

Job Details

Job Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and stock exam rooms; ensure necessary supplies and medications are available
  • Review patient charts and schedules to support smooth, efficient visits
  • Escort patients, collect vital signs, and document health information
  • Assist with basic clinical tasks such as lab specimen prep and EKGs
  • Communicate abnormal findings to providers
  • Support front desk operations: greet patients, answer phones, verify insurance, and schedule appointments
  • Maintain accurate patient records and assist with quality control procedures

Job Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program
  • BCLS certification (American Heart Association required)
  • Skilled in clinical and administrative tasks (phlebotomy, aseptic technique, EHR)
