• Number of Beds: Free-Standing ED only (no OP or IP imaging)
• Number of Staff: 1 CT/RAD Tech per shift
• Type of Staff:
o Day Shift: Yes
o Night Shift: Yes
• Patient Ratios (Estimated) - 1 Tech per shift (avg 10-20 CT rad exams per shift)
• Type of Equipment: GE 64 Slice CT, GE Digital X-ray, GE portable x-ray
• Documentation System: Meditech
• Call Requirements: 2 Call shifts per month
Typical Hiring Profile
Must have : (includes certifications and special skills, ex: ACLS, BLS, NIH )
• ARRT Rad Tech Certification
• SCQRSA Certification (SC Rad Tech license)
• CT certification preferred - CT experience / knowledge required.
• BLS
List Typical Procedures Performed on Unit(s):
• Routine CT and Diagnostic X-ray procedures for small free-standing ED
Additional Preferences: (ex: previous travel experience preferred, easily adaptable to fast paced unit, can function well independently)
• Must be proficient in both CT and Diagnostic radiology
