Unit Specifics:
• Number of Beds : 400
• Patient Ratios : Average 180 CT exams per day - 3 scanners
• Unit staffing description-: 2 Techs per scanner-day/ Total 3 techs/overnights
• Type of equipment : GE 512, GE 128, GE 32 slice
• Documentation system: Meditech
• Scheduling requirements: n/a
• Floating policy: n/a
• Patient Experience requirements: Perform ED and IP only. Compassionate care model.
Hospital Specifics-
• Certifications: Joint Commission Accredited.
• CT - ACR accredited
Hiring profile
Years of Experience Required: At least 1 yr experience in level 1 trauma setting
Requested Skill Set: Ability to operate GE CT equipment independently
Must have :
Advanced skills needed: Ability to perform routine CT exams for all types of ED and IPs.
Procedures performed on unit: Routine CT exams for ED and IPs to include Trauma pan scans, head, neck, chest, abdomen, pelvis, extremities, CTA.
Certifications Required: ARRT Radiography required; CT preferred.
