Job Description

Vista Defense Technologies, LLC is a Government Consulting and Contracting firm supporting missions throughout the world. VDT is seeking a Virtual Health Systems Administration and Support to join our team.

The Virtual Health Systems Administration and Support's role is to support the IT Teamโ€™s ongoing mission at Jacksonville, FL.

The Employee shall provide Virtual Health System Administration and support for the installation, upgrade and monitoring of software and hardware related to the Virtual Health System platform. The Employee shall serve as the central POC for all NHJ and Branch Health Clinics virtual health hardware and software support matters. The Employee shall perform the following tasks:

What You'll Do:
  • Installation, upgrade, monitoring, SOP documentation, and training for VH platforms.
  • Develop, maintain, and regularly update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all Virtual Health hardware setups, software configurations, network troubleshooting, and administrative workflows.
  • Apply Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) to all Cisco codec endpoints and DX80 devices.
Staff & Provider Training

Organize initial and sustainment training for onsite and remote staff. Topics include platform registration, booking, template management, and mandatory coding/billing compliance.

  • Responsible for the management of Wi-Fi network implemented for virtual video visits platform.
  • Functions may include monitoring network capacity and performance, diagnosing and resolving network problems.
  • Design, Oversee, and administer MDM services (MobileIron), including Apple Business Management and Apple Care. Maintain Apps/Books secure tokens and MDM certificates. Solutions to include account management creating & sustaining database.
  • Responsible for the design, oversight, and administration of Mobile Device Management services to include Apple Business Management and Apple Care.
  • Administration overhead: Maintain device/equipment such as iPhones, iPads, laptops, PCs, etc. in support of VH operations. Responsible for inventory, equipment deployment, device configuration, software installs, and all related IT functional tasks.
  • Administer and customize Global Med Cart systems. Manage Tele-Critical Care (Bernoulli or approved successor) and conduct routine maintenance/log extraction for ICU TCC devices via Cisco Webex.
  • Manage and close service request tickets in ServiceNow. Update and maintain the Virtual Health web page. Provide technical assistance to users to minimize operational disruptions.
  • Provide monthly leadership status reports. Virtual Health web page management and other duties as required relating to newly introduced virtual health modalities.
  • Provides technical assistance to current and potential virtual health users to minimize disruptions of operations.
  • Evaluates impacts of new technologies on current systems and policies. Assesses performance and effectiveness of new or substantially modified systems.
Additional Duties:
  • Serve as the primary contact for scheduling and providing Virtual Health training at NH Jacksonville.
  • Organize and provide initial and sustainment training for onsite providers, hospital staff, BHC clinics, remote users & patients; training to include registration, connecting to the Virtual Health platforms, scheduling, booking, template management in the virtual health platform, coding and billing requirements for virtual health visits to ensure compliance.
  • Participate in Virtual Health platform team planning sessions for the effective deployment of telehealth capabilities DoD wide.
  • Travel may be required as needed to support outlying clinics.
