• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess clients' mental health needs and develop tailored therapeutic strategies that align with each individual’s goals.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions for individuals, groups, couples, and families using modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records that adhere to professional, legal, and ethical guidelines, ensuring confidentiality and security of patient information.
• Engage with multidisciplinary teams in case discussions and collaborative care to provide comprehensive support for clients and facilitate integrated treatment plans.
• Participate in regular training and workshops to remain informed of the latest advancements in mental health research and practices.
• Work to effectively manage client caseloads, with consistent communication regarding availability, to provide accessibility for those seeking counseling resources.

As an LPC with Guiding Light Therapy, you will primarily serve a diverse client population, including adults and adolescents who may be experiencing various mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. The practice emphasizes accessibility for underserved communities, ensuring that your work has a meaningful impact on those who may have limited options for mental health support.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required.
• An active and unrestricted license to practice as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Oregon.
• A minimum of two years of relevant counseling experience in a clinical setting is essential.
• A strong understanding of legal and ethical standards within the counseling profession.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to foster strong therapeutic relationships with a variety of clientele.
• Demonstrated capacity to work effectively within a collaborative healthcare team.
• Proficient in using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software and related technologies for managing patient data.

• Specialization in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance use counseling is highly preferred.
• Experience with teletherapy platforms and virtual counseling techniques is a plus.

The compensation for this position ranges from $70,000 to $90,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
