Position Description

The Associate Learning Facilitator plays a key role in developing Applied Medical’s production team members through instructor-led and virtual instructor-led training experiences. This position supports supply chain and manufacturing operations by delivering interactive learning sessions and contributing to the development and improvement of training programs.

The Facilitator is responsible for preparing and facilitating structured sessions, building an understanding of production operations, and independent facilitation of workshops. Success in this role requires strong foundational facilitation skills, the ability to adapt in real time, and the capability to quickly build confidence and deliver sessions independently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate instructor-led and virtual instructor-led training sessions on topics such as communication, conflict resolution, process improvement, SAP, and output goal setting.
  • Lead structured learning activities by guiding discussions, supporting debriefs, and encouraging participant engagement.
  • Progress toward independently facilitating sessions, including responding to participant questions and managing group dynamics.
  • Translate training content into practical application for production team members.
  • Engage on the production floor to learn workflows, challenges, and team dynamics, enhancing training relevance.
  • Collaborate with Applied Learning team members and cross-functional partners to support training development and delivery.
  • Assist in creating, updating, and maintaining training materials, including presentations, participant resources, and supporting documentation.
  • Apply basic adult learning principles when preparing for and delivering training sessions.
  • Gather participant feedback and share insights to support continuous improvement of training programs.
  • Support the coordination and execution of training initiatives and project deliverables, including scheduling, preparation, and logistical readiness for sessions.
  • Maintain accurate records of training activities, attendance, and participant feedback.
  • Become familiar with how to evaluate performance.
