Family Law Legal Assistant

Basking Ridge, NJ | Onsite (2 Days Per Week) | Part-Time

Compensation: $30–$35/hour

Trustpoint.One is pleased to partner with a respected family law practice in Basking Ridge, New Jersey, in the search for a Part-Time Legal Assistant. This opportunity is open due to the retirement of a long-tenured employee and offers the chance to join a stable, collaborative team supporting a busy family law practice.

This role is ideal for an organized and detail-oriented legal professional who enjoys client interaction, managing case files, and providing administrative support in a fast-paced legal environment.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide administrative and legal support to attorneys handling family law matters
  • Prepare, edit, and format legal documents, correspondence, and court filings
  • Manage attorney calendars, schedule meetings, hearings, and client appointments
  • Maintain and organize physical and electronic case files
  • Communicate professionally with clients, courts, and opposing counsel
  • Track deadlines and assist with case management activities
  • Coordinate document collection and file maintenance
  • Handle general office and administrative tasks as needed
