Summary of Role

The Learning and Performance Specialist will be responsible for the administration and support of all employee training events, management of the Learning Management System, and supporting the employee Performance cycles. Reporting to the Manager, Learning and Performance, this role is integral into the success of our employee Learning and Performance programs, cycles and systems.

You will be responsible for: Learning & Development

Partner with the Manager, Learning & Performance, to execute the firm's learning strategy and annual development priorities.

Learning Program Administration
  • Coordinate all firm learning events, both virtual and in person.
  • Manage training logistics, including scheduling, room setup, technology, materials, registration, attendance, evaluations, and communications.
  • Coordinate external learning, CPE logistics, and professional development opportunities.
  • Partner with department administrators and business leaders to ensure learning needs are met.
  • Partner with the India team on any training administration.
Learning Management System (LMS)
  • Serve as primary administrator for the Learning Management System, currently LC Vista.
  • Create and maintain learning content, assignments, learning paths, and certifications.
  • Troubleshoot user issues and provide LMS support.
  • Based on NASBA standards, maintain accurate employee learning records and reporting. Monitor course completion and compliance requirements.
  • Developing reports that provide meaningful insights to leadership or department representatives.
Professional Development
  • Maintain career development resources and competency models.
  • Support facilitation of instructor-led and virtual learning programs.
  • Coordinate onboarding learning experiences for new hires and interns.
  • Track Continuing Professional Education (CPE), licenses, certifications, and credential renewals.
Vendor Management
  • Coordinate relationships with external vendors.
  • Schedule facilitators and manage training contracts.
  • Assist in evaluating vendor effectiveness and learning outcomes.
Performance Management
  • Coordinate and launch annual and mid-year performance review cycles alongside the performance team.
  • Support goal setting, performance evaluations, and calibration meetings.
  • Prepare communications, timelines, and employee resources.
  • Maintain performance documentation and system accuracy.
  • Assist managers and employees with performance management questions.
  • Stay informed on emerging trends and best practices in learning, talent development, and performance management.

What skills & experience youโ€™ll bring to us:

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, Communications, Industrial-Organizational Psychology, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2+ years of experience in Learning & Development, Talent Development, Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a related field.
  • Experience administering a Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Experience coordinating learning programs or employee development initiatives.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.

Preferred

  • Experience within a public accounting or professional services firm.
  • Knowledge of Continuing Professional Education (CPE) requirements.
  • Experience supporting performance management processes.
  • Experience with LMS and performance management systems.
  • Experience with video editing programs.
  • AI productivity tools (e.g., ChatGPT)

The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data, ranges, applicant's skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications (e.g. JD, technology), for example. At GHJ, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is: $75,000-85,000.
