Position Location: We're all about flexibility! This will be a hybrid role based out of our corporate headquarters in Lakeville, MA with Mondays and Fridays remote.
The Senior Payroll Specialist will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll for all employees. You will maintain employee payroll records, serve as an organizational resource, and resolve any payroll-related discrepancies or issues. Your strong knowledge of payroll processes will ensure compliance with legal requirements and company policies. Additionally, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather payroll data, generate reports, and provide insights for improvements to the payroll process. This role will work with external vendors on a variety of payroll activities including tax filings, payments, and other compliance activities related to our international payrolls.
A Day in the Life...
Process weekly, bi-weekly, semi-monthly, monthly and off-cycle multi-jurisdictional payrolls.
Manages international payroll process including quarterly and year end activities.
Manage and review Time Tracking audits in Workday for hourly and non-exempt employees, performing follow-up within the business as necessary.
Work hand-in-hand with the OneSource Virtual (3rd Party Provider) to process, audit, and complete payroll in line with pay cycle deadlines.
Communicate with employees of all levels in various departments regarding any payroll inquiries.
Support the improvement of payroll processes and controls to minimize risk and to comply with federal and state laws and Company policies.
Maintain detailed source documentation and payroll records.
Process accurate and timely year-end reporting (W-2, etc.)
Provide audit support for domestic and international payrolls.
Process relocation data in collaboration with 3rd party vendor.
Partner with Finance on reconciliation and inquiries.
Liaise with international vendors, Treasury, and AP to facilitate compliance, taxes, and payments.
Partner with HR & Legal on international compliance matters including onboarding and terminations.
Handle multi state tax allocation and compliance.
New Hire reporting
Assist with payroll projects as needed
What We Are Looking For:
Required
- Strong functional knowledge of Payroll processing
- Workday Payroll & Time experience is preferred, but not required
- ADP Celergo experience is preferred, but not required
- International payroll experience is preferred, but not required
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams and vendors
- Exceptionally detail oriented
- Strong organization and time management
- Strong communication, problem solving, report-writing and customer service skills are required
- Must have extensive analytical skills as well as accuracy and attention to details
- Proficient with Microsoft Suite
Education:
Bachelor's or University Degree (Preferred)
Work Experience:
At least 5 Years of Experience
Annual Salary:
$65,700 - $82,100
The base salary range information above serves as a guideline of the position's typical hiring range.
