Responsibilities:
  • Instruction and Curriculum Delivery

โ€ข Deliver assigned program curriculum in classroom and lab settings with technical accuracy and instructional clarity
โ€ข Follow the curriculum as designed. Content is not substituted or modified without approval from the Senior Director or B2B Curriculum Manager
โ€ข Adapt delivery style to meet the needs of adult learners across varying levels of prior experience without compromising technical content or pacing
โ€ข Prepare for each session in advance. Students and client personnel notice the difference between an instructor who is ready and one who is not
โ€ข Maintain accurate attendance records and student progress documentation throughout each cohort
โ€ข Identify students who are struggling and intervene early.
Lab Management and Safety
โ€ข Set up and manage the lab environment for each session; equipment operational, materials staged, space organized before students arrive
โ€ข Enforce all safety protocols without exception. PPE, OSHA compliance, and lab conduct standards are non-negotiable
โ€ข Reset the lab at the conclusion of each cohort to full operational condition
โ€ข Maintain the lab to a standard that reflects professional pride, not minimum compliance
Student Engagement and Outcomes
โ€ข Hold students to the standard the program requires.
โ€ข Create a learning environment that is structured, respectful, and demanding. Adult learners with little to no field experience respond to instructors who know their material and expect instructor effort
โ€ข Manage classroom and lab conduct consistently. Address disruption or disengagement directly and professionally
โ€ข Provide students with clear, actionable feedback throughout the program, not only at formal evaluation points
Professional Conduct and Client Representation
โ€ข Conduct yourself as a representative of StrataTech in every interaction
โ€ข Communicate with client personnel professionally and within the scope of your role. Questions or concerns that exceed that scope are escalated to the Senior Director within the same business day
โ€ข Complete all reporting, documentation, and administrative requirements on time
โ€ข Communicate scheduling needs, equipment issues, or student concerns to the Senior Director proactively
IMT-Specific Technical Delivery
โ€ข Deliver technician basics, including hand and power tools, math fundamentals, metric system and measurement, fasteners and torque specifications, and introduction to maintenance technician responsibilities
โ€ข Deliver electrical theory curriculum, including the nature of electricity, circuit analysis, AC fundamentals, capacitors, and introductory print reading. Students must learn to use a multimeter confidently
โ€ข Electrical labs; wire stripping, electrical device wiring and testing, DMM functions, Romex wiring, and receptacle lab projects. Lab execution must be safe, structured, and hands-on for every student
โ€ข Deliver motors and generators content, including motor theory, induction and DC motors, motor nameplate interpretation, and common failure symptoms and troubleshooting
โ€ข Deliver circuit protection content, including circuit breakers, industrial fuses, overcurrent protection, and fault identification; short circuits, overloads, and ground faults
โ€ข Conduct electrical labs, including switching and controls wiring, capacitor wiring lab, and electrical troubleshooting labs
โ€ข Deliver introductory hydraulics and pneumatics content with emphasis on system understanding, component identification, and basic troubleshooting
โ€ข Deliver power transmission curriculum covering belts, chains, bearings, gears, and shaft alignment concepts
โ€ข Conduct fluid power and mechanical labs with hands-on assembly, alignment, tensioning, and inspection activities
