Key Responsibilities

• Conduct virtual counseling sessions with clients, utilizing video conferencing tools to provide real-time support.
• Facilitate discussions that help clients explore their emotions, experiences, and challenges in a safe environment.
• Assist clients in establishing realistic therapeutic goals, and develop structured treatment plans to help them achieve these objectives.
• Monitor client progress throughout the treatment process, making necessary adjustments to strategies and interventions as required.
• Teach clients healthy coping strategies to enhance their emotional resilience and address challenges that arise during their journey.
• Utilize evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to inform the therapeutic process.
• Collaborate effectively with other healthcare providers to ensure a holistic approach to client mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily support adults who are stable and present with low acuity mental health issues. All clients are pre-screened to ensure they align with your areas of expertise and therapeutic specialties. You will have the opportunity to work with individuals experiencing mood disorders, anxiety, and other common psychological challenges, helping them achieve lasting improvements in their mental well-being.

Qualifications

• Must possess a master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Washington is required.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with clients across diverse backgrounds are essential.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively engage clients during virtual sessions.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience, particularly in treating mood disorders or closely related fields, is preferred.
• Demonstrated proficiency in using evidence-based treatments like CBT and DBT is highly sought after.
• A deep understanding of psychopharmacology and an ability to collaborate with psychiatrists and other medical professionals is an asset.
• Experience in a virtual or telehealth environment is advantageous, showcasing adaptability to online platforms.

Compensation and Benefits
