Join a cutting-edge autonomous vehicle company leading the way in transportation innovation. We are seeking tech-savvy individuals with strong reflexes, focus, and a passion for technology or gaming to support the testing and validation of advanced autonomous vehicle systems.
As a Simulation Operator, you will work hands-on with real-time driving autonomous vehicle equipment-using gaming-style controls and specialized interfaces to monitor vehicle responses, identify anomalies, and assist engineering teams in improving system performance. This role plays a vital part in ensuring the reliability and safety of next-generation autonomous driving technology.
This position emphasizes real-time operational troubleshooting rather than high-level technical development. Ideal candidates are early in their technical careers-those with up to 5 years of experience in troubleshooting, AVO operations, or IT support.Key Responsibilities
  • Operate high-fidelity driving simulators using joysticks, steering wheels, or gaming-style controllers during live troubleshooting sessions.
  • Respond rapidly and accurately to simulated driving events and environmental changes.
  • Observe, log, and report system behavior, flagging performance issues or anomalies for engineering review.
  • Assist with hands-on troubleshooting, system restarts, and data collection during testing cycles.
  • Follow precise test procedures, safety guidelines, and operational protocols.
  • Maintain focus and situational awareness throughout extended testing periods.
  • Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to refine simulation accuracy and efficiency.
What You Bring
  • 2+ years of experience as an Autonomous Vehicle Operator (AVO), simulation operator, or in a junior IT support or QA testing role.
  • Proficiency with gaming controllers (Xbox, PlayStation, or PC joystick).
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and fast reaction time.
  • Basic computer literacy with strong technical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.
  • Reliability, accountability, and strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to stay focused and calm under pressure in a dynamic testing environment.
  • Solid communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with simulators, hardware troubleshooting, or gaming systems.
  • Exposure to automotive technology, software testing, or robotics environments.
  • Enthusiasm for innovation, automation, and the future of mobility.

Note: We prioritize candidates with up to 5 years of hands-on technical or troubleshooting experience. Senior IT professionals or candidates with primarily theoretical experience are typically not a fit for this role.Shifts
  • Multiple shifts available: Day, Evening, and Weekend options.
  • Flexibility is highly valued.
Compensation & Benefits
  • $25.00 per hour.
  • Paid training.
  • Overtime opportunities.
  • Opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology shaping the future of transportation.
