Job description

Salary: $55,000.00 Annually Location : Sarasota, Florida, United States Job Type: Full-Time Job Number: 00818 Division: Admissions Opening Date: 04/21/2026 Closing Date: Continuous Description The Coordinator of Transfer & International Admissions provides frontline operational and administrative support for transfer and international recruitment, admissions processing, and enrollment activities. Reporting to the Assistant Director, this role focuses on execution, accuracy, and service delivery to ensure prospective and admitted students receive timely communication, complete application processing, and consistent support throughout the enrollment cycle. This position supports daily operations, maintains data integrity, and assists with recruitment initiatives without independent policy, strategic, or supervisory authority. Examples of Duties Student & Partner Communication:

  • Serve as primary Admissions point of contact for caseload of prospective transfer and international students, working to recruit them to New College of Florida. This will include, but is not limited to, responding to inquiries via email, phone, and approved CRM communications.
  • Send and track admissions communications, reminders, and follow-ups using established messaging and workflows.
  • Support communication with Florida College System partners and external stakeholders as directed.

Admissions Processing & Data Management:

  • Process and maintain transfer and international applicant records in Slate CRM, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely updates.
  • Assist with document collection, transcript intake, application completion tracking and coordination of transfer credit evaluations.
  • Support international applicant documentation and compliance workflows in coordination with the Assistant Director and Registrar/Designated School Official (DSO).

Event Support:

  • Assist with logistics and execution for recruitment initiatives including Transfer Tuesdays, express-admit activities, campus visits, and virtual events
  • Prepare materials, manage registration lists, and support on-site or virtual event operations
  • Track participation and outcomes related to recruitment activities for reporting purposes

Operational & Administrative Support:

  • Support daily operational workflows for the Transfer & International Admissions unit
  • Maintain calendars, tracking documents, and internal records related to outreach, applications, and events
  • Compile data and run standard reports to support unit reporting and analysis

Collaboration & Compliance Support

  • Coordinate with Enrollment Operations, Financial Aid, Registrar, and other campus partners on routine admissions-related matters
  • Follow established policies, procedures, and compliance requirements related to admissions, records management, and student data privacy

Other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
  • One (1) or more years of experience in education, admissions, student services, administrative support, or a related field
  • Demonstrated organizational skills and strong attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience with Technolutions Slate CRM or similar student information systems
  • Familiarity with transfer admissions or international student processes
  • Experience providing customer service in an academic or professional setting
