Job description

Description Summary

As the Managing Director – International Banking, you will drive business growth and deepen relationships with internationally active clients, including U.S. subsidiaries of foreign-headquartered companies. This role partners across teams to support client needs, manage risk, and contribute to the success of International Banking and Corporate, Specialty & Government Banking.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities with internationally active clients and deliver coordinated banking solutions that meet client needs.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with international banking clients and prospects, including clients with cross-border banking needs.
  • Financial Management: Manage revenue, pricing, profitability, and portfolio performance for assigned client relationships.
  • Risk Management: Work with internal partners to manage credit, country, regulatory, AML, sanctions, KYC, operational, and client-specific risks.
  • Product and Solution Delivery: Partner with product teams to provide lending, trade finance, foreign exchange, treasury management, capital markets, liquidity, and related banking solutions.
  • Market Intelligence: Monitor global market trends, currency movements, geopolitical developments, and competitive activity to identify opportunities and risks.
  • Collaboration: Work across relationship management, product, credit, operations, compliance, risk, legal, and international teams to support consistent client coverage.
  • Portfolio and Coverage Strategy: Support portfolio planning and coverage priorities for assigned clients and prospects.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree 7 or more years industry specific experience in a sales role including building and maintain strong relationships with international banking clients FINRA Series 79 and 63 licenses, or ability to obtain within required timeframe
