Position Overview

We are actively seeking a dedicated Virtual Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our growing team at Sage Mental Wellness and Behavioral Solutions. This full-time position allows you to utilize your expertise in providing virtual therapy services to individuals, couples, and families, supporting their mental and emotional well-being. As a crucial member of our mental health team, you will contribute significantly to fostering healthy relationships and improving clients' quality of life.

About the Organization

Sage Mental Wellness and Behavioral Solutions is a vibrant mental health organization located in Issaquah, Washington, focused on providing innovative and compassionate care to our community. Our organizational ethos is rooted in evidence-based practices and a holistic approach to mental wellness. We strive to cultivate a supportive environment where both clients and employees can thrive, aligning our services with the unique needs of diverse populations.

Work Environment

This position offers the flexibility of a remote work setting, enabling you to fulfill your duties from the comfort of your home while being an integral part of our outpatient team. By leveraging telehealth technologies, you will engage with clients while enjoying a work-life balance that enhances your personal well-being. Your workspace should be conducive to maintaining professionalism and confidentiality as you provide care to individuals and families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough virtual initial assessments to evaluate clients' mental health needs and develop individualized treatment plans that reflect their unique circumstances.
  • Facilitate engaging therapy sessions for individuals, couples, and families, utilizing evidence-based practices and interventions that drive positive outcomes.
  • Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team of professionals, including psychologists, licensed clinical social workers, and psychiatrists, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for clients.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of progress notes, treatment plans, and relevant client information, adhering to organizational policies and HIPAA regulations.
  • Participate in regular clinical supervision, training sessions, and professional development opportunities to enhance your therapeutic skills and stay updated on advancements in the field.
  • Stay informed about best practices, emerging trends, and research in marriage and family therapy to continually improve service delivery.
  • Uphold ethical standards and maintain confidentiality in all professional interactions in line with legal and organizational requirements.
Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Virtual LMFT at Sage Mental Wellness and Behavioral Solutions, you will work with a diverse client population, including adults, children, and families, who present a wide range of challenges. Your work will involve assisting clients in navigating relationships, coping with life transitions, and addressing mental health concernsโ€”from anxiety and depression to interpersonal conflicts. Your skill set will be vital in promoting sustainable mental health and resilience within the families and individuals you serve.

Qualifications
  • A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Active licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Washington State.
  • A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting, ideally working with diverse populations.
  • Strong knowledge of diagnosis and treatment planning using the DSM-5, alongside robust clinical skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills that facilitate building rapport and trust with clients.
  • A demonstrated ability to work independently while effectively collaborating within a team dynamic.
  • A flexible approach, allowing for adaptation to changing work schedules and the evolving needs of clients.
  • Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems to document client interactions and progress efficiently.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in delivering marriage and family therapy to a wide-ranging client demographic, showcasing an ability to connect compellingly with different age groups.
  • Previous experience utilizing teletherapy platforms, enhancing your readiness for remote client engagement.
  • Familiarity with community resources to better assist clients in accessing additional support services.
Compensation and Benefits
  • A competitive annual salary of $100,000 to $105,000, commensurate with experience.
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance to safeguard your health and well-being.
  • An employee assistance program providing mental health support to encourage employee wellness.
  • Professional liability insurance for additional peace of mind as you practice.
  • Unlimited referrals ensuring a fulfilling caseload that aligns with your interests and expertise.
  • An emphasis on minimal paperwork to allow you to focus more on client care rather than administrative duties.
