This is an open house forum where you will have the opportunity to discuss a potential career path of Trades! Here at Tacoma Public Utilities we have many amazing opportunities within Power and Water! This will be a chance to discuss the recruitment process, get interview advice, and talk to those currently in these roles.
This event will be taking place on Thursday, September 10th, from 4:30-7:15PM in person, as well as a virtual option for those unable to attend in person. This will be held in the Tacoma Public Utilities Auditorium. Upon registering you will receive an email the day before the event with the link to attend this event.

Other Employment Information
Direct Deposit: Employees are paid on a bi-weekly schedule by direct deposit.
Salary Increases: Based on satisfactory job performance, the City provides for a regular progression of salary increases for most classifications according to the salary schedule.
Union Affiliation: Many job classifications are covered by union security provisions which require union membership, dues, or payment of equivalent service fees.
