  • Conduct professional phone, email, virtual, and in-person interactions with existing and prospective customers.
  • Convert telephone, online, and walk-in inquiries into rentals.
  • Rent self-storage units, parking spaces, and related products.
  • Upsell moving and packing supplies and assist customers with unit sizing decisions.
  • Provide accurate information regarding company properties, services, and processes.
  • Respond promptly and effectively to customer inquiries, emails, and voicemails.
  • Resolve customer concerns and issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain accounts receivable through payment processing, collections efforts, and account follow-up.
  • Prepare and deliver daily bank deposits accurately and timely.
  • Generate daily revenue and operational reports utilizing Microsoft Excel.
  • Maintain accurate customer and property records while safeguarding confidential information.
  • Perform routine property inspections, including lock checks and identifying areas requiring attention.
  • Ensure company standards for cleanliness, appearance, and safety are consistently maintained.
  • Perform basic maintenance duties, including cleaning offices, hallways, and restrooms, changing light bulbs, weeding, and operating basic power tools as needed.
  • Utilize company software, web-based tools, and communication systems effectively.
  • Report technology, communication, or equipment issues promptly.
  • Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines and performance expectations.
  • Work independently and collaboratively to achieve company goals.
  • Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a customer-facing environment required.
  • Sales experience preferred, including phone sales or consultative sales experience.
  • Strong customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize work, and manage competing demands effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook and Excel.
  • Ability to learn and utilize new software applications, web-based tools, and point-of-sale systems.

SCHEDULE

  • Two (2) days per week onsite as an Assistant Manager (10:00 AM – 6:00 PM)
  • Three (3) days per week as a Virtual Agent with a flexible schedule between 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM
  • Flexibility to work additional hours, travel to nearby locations, and assist with business needs as required
