Registered Nurse (RN) - Warren, RI

Are you a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) looking for a rewarding career opportunity? We are seeking a dedicated RN to join our team at the Warren Center in Warren, RI.

About the Role

As a Registered Nurse (RN) with our organization, you will be responsible for providing direct nursing care to our residents, as well as supervising the day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants. You will work closely with your assigned nursing staff, as well as support personnel, to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants
  • Complete and file required recordkeeping forms/charts upon the residentโ€™s admission, transfer, and/or discharge
  • Prepare and administer medications as ordered by the physician
  • Develop and maintain a good working rapport with inter-departmental personnel and other departments within the facility
  • Administer professional services such as catheterization, tube feedings, and applying and changing dressings/bandages
Qualifications:
  • Registered Nurse with a current unencumbered state license
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
  • Must be able to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action
  • Must be knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to nursing care facilities
  • Current CPR Certification is required
Physical Demands:
  • Be able to move intermittently throughout the workday
  • Must be able to cope with the mental and emotional stress of the position
  • Must meet the general health requirements set forth by the policies of this facility
