Job Summary (List Format):
- Position: Registered Nurse for Inpatient Adolescent Psychiatric Unit
- Shift: 12-hour shifts; must be flexible to work both day and night shifts, as well as weekends and holidays, as assigned
- Patient Population: Adolescent psychiatric patients
- Certification Requirements:
- American Heart Association BLS (required)
- ACLS (preferred)
- Active certification in one of the following crisis intervention methods required: TCI, CPI, MANDT, or TEAM
- Work Hours: 36 guaranteed hours per week (except during Admission/Discharge Weeks and Cycle Break Week Unit Closure)
- Specialty: Nursing (Psychiatric Adolescent)
- Responsibilities: Provide direct nursing care, manage psychiatric crises, ensure patient safety, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
- Additional Notes: Must be adaptable to fluctuating schedules and patient census
