Registered Nurse (RN) Outpatient Surgery Services (Post-Op) Job Type: Full-time | Days

Up to $20,000 Sign-On Bonus for Eligible Candidates

Schedule: 4x10, Days, Rotating Start Times, On-call Rotation (4-6 weekdays/weekends every 6 weeks)

Outpatient Surgery RNs support the recovery of patients from 10 operating rooms with service lines that include Orthopedics, Urology, OB/GYN, General Surgery, Plastic Surgery, Ear Nose and Throat, Neurology and Podiatry. In this role you will work in the hospital setting.

How you'll contribute

A Outpatient Surgery Services RN who excels in this role:

  • Performs plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care activities.
  • Documents patient care provided.
  • Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition to the care team, physician, patient, and family.
  • Provides quality patient care and works flexible shifts as schedule changes frequently.
  • Maintains regular and reliable attendance.
  • Will admit (preop) and discharge patients.

What we're looking for

Applicants should have a current Arizona or Compact State RN license and possess an Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:

  • Education: Bachelor of Science (BSN) preferred
  • Certifications: BCLS, ACLS and PALS required upon hire
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year bedside nursing required; surgical nursing preferred
