Job description

Account Manager, VIP/Influencer at AZIONE PR
Location: New York City
About AZIONE: AZIONE is not a traditional PR agency - we operate at the intersection of culture, influence, and brand. We build relevance, not just awareness, helping brands enter culture and stay there. Our work spans PR, influencer, talent, partnerships, and experiential, engineered to drive emotional velocity and real business impact.
Job Description: We're looking for an Account Manager to support Influencer + VIP across a portfolio of fashion, lifestyle, and consumer brands. This is not a coordination role, it's a culture-driving, relationship-led, revenue-minded position.
You should be actively building your network across influencers, stylists, managers, and publicists, and developing the ability to turn those relationships into meaningful brand moments.
You understand the full spectrum of influence:
  • Micro → Macro → Mega
  • Organic → Paid → Affiliate-driven performance
  • Cultural relevance → Commercial impact

You don't just follow trends, you spot them early, shape them, and plug brands into them in a way that feels earned.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Leadership & Growth
  • Support day-to-day management of Influencer/VIP workstreams across multiple accounts
  • Partner with senior team members to execute strategies that align with client goals
  • Contribute to identifying growth opportunities including campaigns, partnerships, and always-on programs
  • Support in managing timelines, deliverables, and client communication with precision

Talent Strategy & Cultural Relevance
  • Manage full-funnel influencer + VIP strategies across:
    • Organic seeding
    • Paid partnerships
    • Celebrity + stylist dressing
    • Affiliate / performance programs (ShopMy, LTK, etc.)
  • Research and identify the right mix of voices - from niche authority to mass reach - to drive both credibility and conversion
  • Concept and execute campaigns that tap into culture, not just calendars
  • Stay on top of trends, emerging platforms, and cultural moments, bringing ideas forward to the team

VIP + Celebrity Ecosystem
  • Build and maintain relationships with:
    • Talent managers, agents + publicists
    • Celebrity stylists + glam teams
  • Support consistent celebrity dressing moments, placements, and cultural visibility
  • Contribute in identifying and securing high-impact talent partnerships (earned + paid)
  • Manage securing celebrity sightings and moments that extend into media + social

Execution Excellence
  • Manage end-to-end execution of influencer + talent campaigns:
    • Talent sourcing + vetting
    • Negotiation + contracting
    • Content direction + approvals
    • Reporting + performance optimization
  • Manage seeding programs that actually land, not just send product
  • Concept standout mailers and moments that cut through feeds and group chats
  • Ensure all programs ladder back to clear KPIs (reach, engagement, conversion, affiliate performance)

Affiliate and Performance Integration
  • Working knowledge of affiliate ecosystems (ShopMy, LTK, Impact, etc.)
  • Ability to manage programs that bridge brand and performance
  • Support clients on commission structures, tracking, and optimization
  • Identify influencers who drive not just content, but commerce

Networking + Relationship Building
  • Maintain and continuously grow a high-value, highly responsive network across:
    • Influencers (all tiers)
    • Celebrity + VIP
    • Stylists
    • Managers, agents, publicists
  • Be known as someone who gets things done quickly and well

Leadership
  • Lead, mentor, and elevate junior team members across influencer + VIP
  • Set the bar for taste, speed, and execution
  • Foster a team culture that is proactive, plugged-in, and solutions-oriented

What Makes You Stand Out
  • 4-5 years of experience across influencer, VIP, talent, or fashion PR
  • Hands-on experience supporting campaigns across micro → macro → mega influencers
  • Direct experience working within fashion ecosystems, including celebrity dressing, stylist relations, and securing high-visibility placements (editorial, street style, events, paparazzi moments)
  • Established and growing relationships with celebrity stylists, talent teams, agents, publicists and fashion industry gatekeepers
  • Understanding of how to translate product into culture-driving moments through talent + styling
  • Experience across organic, paid, and affiliate-driven programs (ShopMy, LTK, etc.)
  • Strong instinct for who matters now (and next) across fashion, culture, and social platforms
  • Ability to identify and activate talent that drives both relevance and revenue
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple fast-moving workstreams
  • Proactive, resourceful, and solution-oriented with a strong sense of ownership

Benefits:
  • Salary - $95,000 - $110,000 (commensurate with experience)
  • 100% medical and dental coverage
  • Bonus and commission opportunities
  • Year-long summer Friday hours
  • 401K benefits
