Position Details Position Information Position Title Assistant Football Coach, Running Backs - Athletics Job Description Ashland University is an NCAA Division II institution that competes in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (GMAC). Ashland University offers a comprehensive 24-sport athletic program. The university is located off of Interstate 71 in Ashland, Ohio, midway between Cleveland and Columbus. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Coach running backs
  • Assist with Core 4 special teams
Video Coordinator
  • Maintain and upgrade video equipment
  • Transportation of video equipment
  • Film/edit all practice and games (Coordinate with the Stallions)
  • Opponent and self-scout cut-ups (work with the G.A.'s)
  • Video exchanges with opponents
  • Video needs for all team functions
  • Social Media Coordinator
PLEASE NOTE: This position does not include health insurance, retirement plans, or other employee benefits. Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree is required.
  • Candidates must have the ability to successfully impart football knowledge.
  • Previous coaching and/or playing experience on the college level is highly desired.
  • The ability to identify and recruit student-athletes is required.
  • This position requires well-developed communication skills, as well as strong time management and organizational skills.
  • The ability to manage a budget is desired.
  • The ability to work weekends and evenings is required. This position requires extensive travel, both in recruiting and games.
  • Applicant must be currently authorized to work in the United States. Ashland University will not sponsor or take over sponsorship for an employment visa.
