Job description

Eaton’s CPDI OPS Operations division is currently seeking a Production Scheduler. This is an onsite role located at our Raleigh, NC facility. Relocation assistance is not available for this position. Only candidates in the immediate geographic area (50-mile radius) will be considered for this position.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $86000 - $126000 a year.

What you’ll do:
  • You will establish and maintain master schedule accurately to generate a valid production schedule and drive material requirements accordingly.
  • You will actively participate in the SIOP process; driving manufacturing supply review for your product line, evaluate changes in future demand and adjust forecast as required to achieve a balance between maximizing customer satisfaction and maintaining optimal inventory levels.
  • You will work closely with Customer Service, Sales, and Engineering teams to understand and strive to meet customer expectations.
  • You will work with Manufacturing teams to ensure that the production plan and customer requests are fulfilled.
  • You will produce various weekly and monthly reports to provide vital information to management
  • You will maintain master data integrity for given product lines
  • You will work closely with NPI project teams to support phasing in and out of products as required
  • You will participate and lead continuous improvement projects as part of the “Focus Factory” for your production line
Qualifications:Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution and 3 years related experience OR 7 years of related professional experience in supply chain or operations in a manufacturing setting
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship
  • Relocation is not offered for this position. Candidates must reside within a 50-mile radius of the Raleigh, NC area to be considered for this opportunity
Preferred Qualifications:
  • SAP Experience
  • Microsoft Office proficiency
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management
  • Master’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain or related field
  • CPIM or other supply chain certification
  • Previous experience in production planning in a Make to Order manufacturing environment
  • Basic knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma concepts and tool sets as they relate to production scheduling
Skills:
  • Ability to demonstrate knowledge of ERP requirements and customer order processing
  • Basic understanding of production routings, product costing, order entry, and typical supply chain functions.
  • Ability to demonstrate problem solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to present data effectively to support recommendations regarding production plan/master schedule
  • Ability to adjust work priorities to meet continuously changing schedulesAbility to set priorities and accomplish goals within time constraints.
  • Maintaining sense of urgency to customers’ requirements.
