Job description

SUMMARY: This role is heavily focused on video production, video editing, and photography, with an emphasis
on creating high-quality visual content that aligns with our brand identity and engages our audience across
multiple platforms. The ideal candidate is passionate about storytelling, has a keen eye for detail, and is
proficient in all aspects of video and photography production, from pre-production planning to post-production
editing.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: (Specific areas of responsibility including, but not limited to)
Video Production and Editing:
  • Conceptualize, script, shoot, and edit video content for various platforms (social media, website, advertising, internal communications).
  • Ensure high production quality through lighting, audio, and camera techniques.
  • Utilize motion graphics, animations, and special effects to enhance videos as needed

Photography:
  • Plan and execute professional photoshoots (e.g., product photography, lifestyle shots, events, headshots).
  • Edit and retouch images for optimal quality and consistency.
  • Maintain an organized library of visual assets.

Content Strategy:
  • Collaborate with the marketing and creative teams to develop concepts that align with campaign goals.
  • Generate creative ideas for storytelling through video and photography.
  • Stay up to date with trends in video production, editing techniques, and visual storytelling.

Asset Management:
  • Manage and maintain video and photography equipment.
  • Organize and archive all digital assets for future use.

Collaboration:
  • Work closely with designers, writers, and other team members to ensure cohesive brand messaging.
  • Take feedback and incorporate revisions promptly.
  • Adheres to Black Oak Casino and departmental policies and procedures.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS:
  • Must possess a high school diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent.
  • Bachelor's degree in film production, Photography, Multimedia, or a related field (or equivalent experience) with minimum of 2 years' experience as a Content Producer preferred.
  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Must have the ability to communicate and work effectively with all Team Members.
  • Must have the ability to convey a positive and professional image to Guests and Team Members.
  • Must have proven experience in video production, video editing, and photography (portfolio required).
  • Must have expertise with industry-standard software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Lightroom, Photoshop, and Final Cut Pro.
  • Must have familiarity with professional cameras, lighting, and audio equipment
  • Must be able to pass a mandatory drug test.
  • Strong storytelling and creative direction abilities.
  • Must be proficient in color grading, sound mixing, and advanced editing techniques.
  • Must have knowledge of social media platforms and their specific video/photo requirements.
  • Must have excellent time management and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Must be flexible and adaptable to shifting priorities.
  • Must have strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • May be required to work extended hours when necessary to support the design team in meeting deadlines.
  • Must be able to obtain a valid gaming license.
