Due to continued expansion, GlobalStep is looking for Senior QA Game Testers to test videogames in our Dallas based test center.
Key responsibilities:
  • Identify issues and defects in videogames across multiple platforms and environments
  • Construct concise and consistent defect reports to a high standard, in a time-effective manner
  • Identify which additional testing activities would benefit current projects
  • Help define local methodologies and terminology and ways to integrate them
  • Identify new opportunities for the local team to support global GlobalStep activity by assessing test and reporting procedures
  • Carry out trainings based on documentation
  • Mentor new members of the team
  • Carry out the more complex tasks and ensure adequate coordination and communication within the team
  • Introduce latest tools and innovation in daily activities
  • Help QA Lead monitor team work velocity and inform test lead of potential missed or exceeded testing deadlines
  • Lead testing of small groups for specific test goals or smaller projects
