Position Overview
The Marketing Coordinator supports the planning, creation, and execution of marketing initiatives with a primary focus on social media strategy and content development. This role is ideal for a creative, organized, and detail-oriented communicator who enjoys storytelling, brand building, and engaging online communities.
Working closely with the marketing team, this individual will assist in executing social media campaigns, coordinating content across multiple brands, supporting digital marketing efforts, and helping maintain brand consistency across all platforms. The Marketing Coordinator plays an important role in bringing our brands to life online while ensuring content is engaging, authentic, and aligned with broader marketing goals.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field preferred.
• 1-2 years of marketing or social media coordination experience (internships and freelance work welcomed).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong understanding of major social media platforms, current trends, and engagement strategies.
• Basic photo and video editing skills (Canva, CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.) preferred.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Collaborative team player with a proactive and creative mindset.
• Passion for storytelling and connecting with people, especially seniors and caregivers.

Key Responsibilities

• Write compelling captions and messaging that reflect each brand's voice, values, and target audience.
• Organize, edit, and publish content received from community teams and internal partners.
• Manage photo and video submissions to ensure the strongest stories and brand moments are featured on social channels.
• Support the execution of social media campaigns aligned with broader marketing initiatives.
Community Engagement
• Monitor and respond to comments and messages across brand pages using Sprout Social.
• Support community-level pages with posting assistance, engagement coaching, and social media best practices.
• Identify opportunities to elevate local engagement, highlight resident stories, showcase staff, and feature community events.
• Help ensure brand voice and customer experience remain consistent across all social interactions.
Reporting & Analytics
• Assist with monthly and quarterly social media reporting using Sprout Social and internal dashboards.
• Track content performance to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for optimization.
• Monitor engagement metrics and provide recommendations for improving reach and interaction.
• Support ongoing marketing reporting and documentation of campaign performance.
General Working Conditions
This position entails standing for long periods of time. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to communicate effectively with others, sit, stand, walk, and use hands to handle keyboard, telephone, paper, files, and other equipment and objects. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms. This position requires the ability to review detailed documents and read computer screens. The employee will occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The work environment requires appropriate interaction with others. The noise level in the work environment is moderate. Travel to different locations may be required.
