The College of Innovation & Technology is looking for social media content creators to highlight student life and campus life for social media platforms including LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter (X), TikTok, as well as other emerging social media platforms. - Sourcing and creation of organic social media content, including photo, video, and text for posts - minimum of one post per week
- Work with social media manager to schedule postings
- Video editing of raw footage for social media
- Photo editing for social media
- Networking with CIT faculty, staff, other students, and student clubs and organizations to collect information for content creation
- Social media takeovers
- Attending meetings biweekly to discuss social media strategy
Required Qualifications*
- Must be a current UM-Flint student, graduate or undergraduate
- Must be comfortable being filmed and included in social media content, specifically videos
- Must be and stay up to date on social media best practices and trends.
- Must be responsive to emails and reply promptly, and have good communication skills
- Must have a willingness to attend CIT functions, events, etc.
