The Perry Group is looking for a skilled, flexible, and reliable Video Editor to support our Director of Content with editing high-quality real estate and social media content. This role will primarily focus on editing listing videos, along with reels, short-form clips, agent content, and other video assets for social media and marketing.

This position is ideal for someone who is fast, detail-oriented, creative, adaptable, and comfortable working with a consistent editing schedule. We are looking for someone who understands pacing, clean transitions, music selection, visual storytelling, and how to make real estate content feel polished, engaging, and on-brand.
What Youโ€™ll Do

  • Edit listing videos, reels, clips, and short-form social content for The Perry Group and its agents.
  • Prioritize listing video edits, with an expected volume of approximately 2 listing videos per day.
  • Maintain a 2โ€“3 day turnaround time on edits.
  • Work closely with the Director of Content to understand creative direction, brand standards, and video priorities.
  • Take feedback well and make edits or revisions in a timely, professional manner.
  • Remain flexible as priorities shift, especially when urgent listing videos, event content, or social media needs come up.
  • Edit videos for multiple platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Facebook, and other social channels.
  • Select appropriate music, pacing, cuts, transitions, captions, and visual elements to create engaging final videos.
  • Ensure all videos are polished, professional, and aligned with The Perry Groupโ€™s brand.
  • Communicate clearly about timelines, capacity, revisions, and project status.
  • Organize, manage, and export video files in the correct formats for social media and marketing use.
  • Maintain consistency across listing videos, agent content, and branded marketing materials.
Must Have Skills

  • Experience editing real estate videos, listing videos, reels, or social media content preferred.
  • Strong understanding of short-form video editing, pacing, hooks, and social media trends.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at once while meeting quick turnaround deadlines.
  • Comfortable editing a high volume of video content on a consistent basis.
  • Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, DaVinci Resolve, or similar platforms.
  • Strong attention to detail, including audio quality, color, captions, transitions, and overall polish.
  • Ability to follow brand guidelines and creative direction while still bringing fresh ideas to the table.
  • Flexible, adaptable, and able to adjust quickly when priorities or deadlines change.
  • Open to feedback and willing to make revisions without taking direction personally.
  • Reliable communication and ability to work independently.
  • Real estate, lifestyle, or social media marketing experience is a plus.
Expected Workload

  • Approximately 2 listing videos per day.
  • Additional reels, clips, and social media edits as needed.
  • Standard edit turnaround: 2โ€“3 business days.
  • Revisions may be requested and should be completed in a timely manner based on priority.
  • Flexibility will be important, as some projects may require quick adjustments based on listing timelines, agent needs, or content priorities.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is organized, creative, fast, flexible, and dependable. They understand how to take raw footage and turn it into clean, engaging content that feels professional and modern. They are comfortable with a fast-paced content schedule, can handle multiple edits at once, and understand the importance of quick turnaround times in real estate marketing.

This person should be able to work closely with the Director of Content, take feedback well, make revisions quickly, and help elevate the overall quality and consistency of The Perry Groupโ€™s video content.
