The Assistant/Associate Art Director works collaboratively with art directors, strategists and cross-functional partners to plan and execute organic social content. In this role, you will partner with our strategy, analytics, and product teams on ideation, planning, execution, and hindsight of seasonal and always-on social media campaign tactics. The successful candidate must possess strong video capture and editingskills related to motion and still content, with a focus on TikTok. They must be an analytical self-starter who is highly organized and able to deliver top-quality assets in a quick timeframe. A love of fashion, product trends, and culture is a must! Key skills include a keen eye for social content creation, mobile video, and love of all things fashion, combined with the ability to collaborate within a highly matrixed, cross-functional team, create industry-leading social content, and deliver assets within campaign deadlines. This job is located at our Global Home Office in Columbus, Ohio and includes occasional domestic travel. What Will You Be Doing? Collaborate with strategy, creative and copy teams on content concepts and capture for Abercrombie social media platforms, with a focus on TikTok Capture, organize, and edit video content with a focus on TikTok Create assets (on-figure, flat, and in stores) in support of a monthly content calendar that supports brand level milestones and activity Work closely with marketing team to develop short, medium and long-term social media channel and content strategies with a "first to market" approach Translate campaign look-and-feel into branded and product-focused stories for Abercrombie social media platforms Collaborate with strategy teams on planning and executing campaigns, UGC, and influencer programs Create a wide range of graphic design assets - from layouts and typography to original, custom-designed content. Support the post-shoot process of editing, reviewing footage, coordinating sound and music and assisting in all post-production areas for Abercrombie social video content Partner with product teams to plan messaging and align on product curation Interact with cross-functional teams, including strategy, DTC, paid media, legal, store directors/teams, PR, legal, music, copy, studio, and retouching, to ensure creative and directional alignment Determine efficiencies in leveraging existing assets vs capturing new ones Monitor industry creative best practices/trends and maintain a competitive library of new content opportunities Develop and continuously update best practices and manage recommended rules of engagement Provide support to regional marketing teams as needed What Do You Need To Bring? 2+years of video, design and TikTok social media experience at a brand – fashion or beauty a plus. Highly adept at content creation, videography, editing, and post-production geared for mobile platforms High awareness of current global fashion and image trends for 22–28-year-old customers Experience creating high-quality TikTok and reels video content, utilizing transitions and unique social video editing techniques. Software, proficient in the following areas: Adobe Premiere CC, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Media Encoder, TikTok, Edits, Capcut, Photoshop and Illustrator, Da Vinci Resolve, General Camera knowledge, On set Production experience is a plus. Post-production experience, proficient in the following areas: Editing, light motion graphics (more advanced knowledge is a plus), Color correction, Sound design An awareness to trends and editing styles, plus an ability to concept and communicate original ideas Passion for content in Fashion, Lifestyle, & Beauty Thorough and vast knowledge of the digital landscape as pertains to marketing with specific expertise in social media – TikTok and Instagram obsessed!
