Summary

The New York office of Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP is looking for a Video Production Intern to support the Client Development & Marketing Department. Willkie is an elite international law firm of approximately 1,300 lawyers located in 16 offices in six countries.

The Video Production Intern will assist with a variety of video production, photography, and content functions, including filming, video editing, event coverage, firm photography, creative content ideation, and cross-team collaboration. The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented, self-motivated individual with strong videography, editing, and storytelling skills, proficiency in video editing software and Microsoft Office, and a genuine interest in legal marketing and communications.

This is a great opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience in a law firm environment. Candidates should be willing to work a minimum of 15 hours a week, not exceeding over 25 hours a week for a yearlong internship.

Responsibilities
  • Film, edit, and produce polished video content for both internal and external audiences
  • Develop and pitch creative ideas for engaging, on-brand video content
  • Capture high-quality video footage and photography at firm events, as directed
  • Provide general firm photography to support a range of needs across the organization
  • Collaborate closely with the wider Brand and Communications team on content projects that support stakeholders and departments throughout the firmย 
Qualifications
  • Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field, with current standing as a graduating senior or recent graduate
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to work collaboratively across teams
  • Ability to conduct research using various databases and online platforms
  • Self-motivated with ability to work independently and take initiative
