About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President and Chief Executive Officer for its Solano Campus. The successful candidate will be the administrative leader for the campus, providing strategic vision, leadership, and management of all operations and initiatives. This role involves driving long-term strategic planning, university development, and enrollment, as well as ensuring compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and policies. The VP and CEO will also have oversight of the operational aspects of the maritime academy and will be a key advocate for the campus with local, state, and federal government officials. Key qualifications include the ability to handle high-level interpersonal situations with tact and diplomacy, strong leadership skills with a focus on collaboration and inclusivity, and the ability to make strategic decisions, particularly in high-pressure situations. A doctoral or comparable terminal degree is required, along with experience in leading a large, complex organization, particularly in a challenging financial environment, and a successful track record in higher education administration. The ideal candidate for the Vice President and Chief Executive Officer position at the company's Solano Campus will have a background that demonstrates the ability to manage complex budgets and resources effectively.
