Reporting directly to executive leadership, the SVP will provide strategic oversight while maintaining accountability for operational performance, financial results, client satisfaction, and leadership development. This individual will play a critical role in shaping the future of the organization by mentoring operational leaders, improving execution across multiple offices, and implementing scalable systems that drive consistency and profitability.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience leading large multifamily construction organizations, managing full P&L responsibility, and overseeing multiple concurrent projects and regional operations.

  • Establish scalable operational processes that support continued company growth.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with developers, owners, and strategic clients.
  • Drive operational excellence through consistent project execution, safety, quality, and financial performance.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership on business planning, market expansion, and long-term growth initiatives.
  • Ensure successful delivery of ground-up multifamily and mixed-use developments from preconstruction through closeout.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in multifamily construction.
  • Proven executive leadership experience overseeing large regional or multi-state construction operations.
  • Demonstrated success with full P&L responsibility for significant construction business units.
  • Extensive background leading ground-up multifamily and mixed-use developments ranging from approximately $10 million to $50 million.
  • Experience managing multiple offices, business units, or geographic regions.
  • Strong ability to recruit, develop, and retain high-performing operational leadership teams.
  • Exceptional client relationship and business development skills.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to build systems, improve processes, and scale operations.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred but not required.
  • Must currently reside in or be willing to relocate to the Tampa, Florida area. Candidates throughout Florida, Alabama, and Georgia are encouraged to apply.

Benefits

  • Base salary $275,000-$300,000
  • Performance-based annual bonus
  • Equity opportunity
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • Retirement savings plan
  • Paid vacation and holidays
