Job Description:

The Director, RCM Operations is a crucial role on the OneOncology Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) leadership team. This individual will work across the business to execute strategies that will help integration and process improvement efforts. The Director will be primarily responsible for helping RCM with the integration of new physicians, locations, new lines of business and new workflows with a broad-ranging set of connection points to Operations, Executive Leadership, and all areas of the RCM organizational structure. This role will also have responsibilities to oversee the execution of new strategies across OneOncology's people, processes, and technologies. With frequent executive exposure and the need to implement change using a combination of direct oversight and organizational influence, success in this role will require a broad range of business and interpersonal skills. This position will report directly to the SVP, RCM within OneOncology's RCM Organizational Structure.

Responsibilities:

  • Refine and/or develop internal Project Management materials to establish a master playbook on which all future integration and new business line activity will be based by creating a robust and repeatable approach to successfully integrate new physicians, locations and lines of business.

  • Oversee all new integration activities by customizing and executing comprehensive workplans tailored to individual integration needs or lead process improvement projects.

  • Work collaboratively with our key stakeholders to continuously improve project management capability utilizing lessons-learned assessments to drive improvement.

  • Formulate priorities based on high-level strategic goals, collaborate and seek feedback on approach to ensure alignment with organizational objectives.

  • Operate independently, balancing multiple workstreams and stakeholder groups effectively and communicating proactively when capacity or timeline barriers exist.

  • Demonstrate the ability to translate revenue cycle and operational knowledge into compelling executive-level communications for internal leadership, practice executives and physicians.

  • Leverage strong relationship building to successfully create change in a matrixed environment; utilize these relationships to steer the direction and outcome of key initiatives and process improvement; build partnerships across the organization and the practices.

  • Design and lead a variety of organizational efforts requiring partnership with a broad range of stakeholders including: Information Technology, Human Resources, RCM Integrations and Operations, Practice Operations, Legal, Compliance, Managed Care/Contracting, Credentialing, etc.

  • Effectively communicate organizational priorities to a large group of operational stakeholders at varying levels; craft intentional messages and create recurring forums to share information, rollout and support change, and keep the organization well informed.

  • Employ strong professional presence; show up as a professional, confident, and impact-driving leader in front of a wide variety of executives and practice leaders.

  • Remain informed on the broader revenue cycle and healthcare market; identify, evaluate, and formulate opinions on emerging trends and technologies; make recommendations on changes to strategy, potential partnerships, or technologies to evaluate

  • Additional responsibilities as assigned to help drive our mission of improving the lives of everyone living with cancer.

Required or Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field

  • 5 years minimum experience in large scale RCM business transformation, strategy formulation, team building, and oversight of large projects or teams; revenue cycle consulting or high-level strategic experience preferred

  • Specialty-based practice integration experience highly preferred

  • PMI Certification preferred
