Job description

W.M. Schlosser Company, Inc. is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead projects from preconstruction through closeout. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented construction professional who can manage safety, quality, schedule, budget, documentation, subcontractor coordination, and client satisfaction in a fast-paced project environment.

The Project Manager will work closely with the Project Executive, VP of Construction, Superintendents, owners, designers, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with contract requirements.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead construction projects from notice to proceed through final closeout.
  • Manage schedules, budgets, cost reports, RFIs, submittals, pay applications, procurement, change orders, and closeout documentation.
  • Coordinate closely with Superintendents and field teams to align field execution with project goals.
  • Communicate professionally with owners, designers, subcontractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Lead project meetings, track action items, and maintain accurate project documentation.
  • Identify and manage project risks, scope changes, cost impacts, and schedule concerns.
  • Reinforce compliance with company safety standards, OSHA requirements, quality expectations, and contract documents.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and accountability to project team members.
What We’re Looking For
  • Minimum 7 years of construction industry experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience.
  • Government general contractor experience strongly preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of scheduling, RFIs, submittals, procurement, change management, cost control, forecasting, and closeout.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction platforms such as Procore.
  • Working knowledge of Primavera P6 and Bluebeam preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong leadership, organization, attention to detail, and commitment to safety and quality.
