Job description

Are you a highly creative and self-motivated VP of Integrated Marketing interested in changing the narrative for all women through best-in-class commercial marketing programs? Hello Sunshine is hiring for a Vice President of Marketing to continue to elevate our brand and our work through premium, engaging content and experiences that deliver impact for our advertising partners.
This role is pivotal and will lead all marketing programming for Solar - a social and creative agency and brand partnership team built upon Hello Sunshine's expertise in female-centered and premium storytelling, brand building, and community cultivation.
This role will oversee a high-performing integrated marketing team and will be responsible for all tentpole program development and activations, go-to-market materials and storytelling, insight led proposal/pitch development inclusive of visual expression, pricing, packaging, and influencer marketing efforts. Proposals, campaigns and media plans will leverage Hello Sunshine IP and DTC Businesses (e.g. Reese's Book Club, The Home Edit, The Hello Sunshine Collective, Shine Away, The Bright Side podcast, Influencer marketing) and need to meet client needs and drive value for brands by building authentic, deep emotional connections with consumers through creative storytelling and experiences that surface, spotlight, and celebrate women.
Our ideal candidate will be:
  • Skilled in conceptualizing, building, packaging, pitching and executing big ideas and signature programs and leading a team of all-star integrated marketers
  • Lead the development of integrating marketing partnerships, experiential/events, digital/video campaign communications, custom creative & marketing ideas in response to RFPs and on a pro-active basis using innovative digital, social solutions, emerging channels and technologies and leveraging the suite of Solar and Hello Sunshine capabilities.
  • Extremely effective in building strong connections with cross-functional groups including social-editorial, creative, production, talent, measurement, and brand marketing teams
  • Experienced in identifying and developing revenue-driving commercial opportunities across all media platforms including video, social, digital and experiential.
  • Have a track record of proactive innovative and incredibly strong partners in the media and talent landscape
  • Maintain strong industry relationships and partnerships with vendors, agents, and innovative platforms and experiential partners
  • Experience partnering with celebrity and digital talent (and their agents) to build marketing partnerships
  • A unique blend of left and right brain to balance big picture creative and efficient team operations and systems
  • Have significant experience with multichannel marketing campaigns, influencer marketing/talent and strategies across paid media responsibilities include:
  • Manage team bandwidth through RFP development, proactive proposals, and revisions throughout the pitch phase
  • Lead collaboration with internal stakeholders like marketing, editorial, franchise, creative, and social teams to create first to market ground-breaking content, brand and marketing programs
  • Maintain an in-depth working knowledge of Hello Sunshine IP and programming, creator networks, talent, social platforms, emerging consumer channels and technologies, key tentpole events/experiences and the company's various offerings.
  • Serve as the Solar team's ambassador for Hello Sunshine IP and DTC brands
    • Oversee and (occasionally participate) in development for both RFPs & proactive brand partnership proposals for sales to bring to market
    • Collaborate with key stakeholders for creative development and review
    • Partner with measurement & research to link marketing concepts to impactful audience, cultural and brand insights, and data

Requirements
  • 12+ years building cross-platform digital and social marketing programs
  • Must be a strong problem solver
  • Strong branded content/creative development and influencer marketing experience
  • Extremely self-motivated, and performance driven- you thrive on seeing the impact of your work and know how to use data to quantify its success, identify areas for improvement, and tell a story to various stakeholders across the organization
  • Strong ability to build relationships and work with a variety of co-workers across multiple teams and disciplines
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills that can be adapted for audiences at all levels across the organization

This position has an estimated annual salary range between $165,000 to $225,000.
