Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • This position will support the Gulfstream Flight Operations organization to improve efficiency across thecompany's Gulfstream fleet.
  • Interns will interface with the Flight Operations Supervisor, Directors, Chief Pilots, Dispatch Senior Managerand VP of Flight Ops to complete projects that enhance processes and efficiencies for all mission-specificGulfstream fleets (e.g., production test, demonstration, Airborne Customer Support).
  • Complete assigned projects and work plans that include - but are not limited to – flight safety systems, business intelligence/analytics, flight operations, and aeronautical, mechanical, or systems engineering.
  • Support efficient work practices and processes.

Additional Functions

  • Comply with safety rules and procedures.
  • Ensure application of all Gulfstream regulations and policies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Education Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a college aviation program such as pilot training, aircraft dispatch, business aviation, engineering technology (A&P technician), aviation maintenance or a related field.
  • Knowledge and understanding of multiple operating systems and Microsoft Office suite is preferred.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities: Essential Functions:
    Perform other duties as assigned. Other Requirements:
    1. Must be enrolled as a full-time student at the time of application and actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher.
    2. Completion of sophomore year is required. prior to the internship start date.
    3. Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher (without rounding); must be listed on resume.
    4. Rotation Requirements: Juniors – 2 rotations; Seniors & Graduate Students – 1 rotation.
    5. Minimum duration: 12 weeks (summer); 14–16 weeks (spring and fall).
    6. Must be onsite; this is not a remote position.
    7. Must have reliable transportation.
    This job requires one to be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
