Job description
We are searching for an experienced Vice President of Enrollment Management at our Goldsmith Campus - Westchester campus.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
PRIMARY PURPOSE:
Reporting directly to the President and serving as a member of the Senior Leadership Team, the Vice President of Enrollment Management (VPEM) serves as the College's chief enrollment strategist and provides visionary leadership for the development, implementation, assessment, and continuous improvement of a comprehensive Strategic Enrollment Management (SEM) program.
The VPEM is responsible for creating an integrated enrollment strategy that supports Otis College's mission, strategic plan, financial sustainability, and commitment to student access, belonging, persistence, and success. The position provides executive leadership across the entire enrollment continuum-from prospective student inquiry through graduation-ensuring that recruitment, admissions, financial aid, registration, enrollment services, student retention, and student success operate as a unified ecosystem.
The VPEM leads an integrated division consisting of Admissions, Enrollment Services and Financial Aid, Student Success and Retention, Enrollment Communications, and Enrollment Analytics. Working collaboratively with Academic Affairs, Student Affairs, Finance and Administration, Marketing and Communications, Institutional Advancement, Institutional Research, faculty, and academic leadership, the Vice President develops institutional enrollment strategies that maximize student enrollment, persistence, graduation, and net tuition revenue while maintaining academic quality and advancing institutional priorities.
As the institution's senior enrollment executive, the VPEM is accountable for achieving enrollment objectives, optimizing tuition revenue, improving student outcomes, leveraging data and predictive analytics, ensuring regulatory compliance, and cultivating a culture of continuous improvement and student-centered service.
CORE DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Developing, implementing, assessing, and continuously refining current cycle, and multi-year strategic enrollment management plans aligned with institutional priorities.
• Serving as executive sponsor of the Strategic Enrollment Management Working Group and leading institution-wide enrollment planning initiatives.
• Establishing measurable enrollment goals, retention targets, graduation objectives, and net tuition revenue projections.
• Leading annual enrollment forecasting, scenario planning, and environmental scanning to anticipate demographic, economic, competitive, and regulatory trends.
• Advising the President, Board of Trustees, and Senior Leadership Team regarding enrollment trends, institutional risks, and strategic opportunities.
• Utilizing enrollment modeling to support institutional planning and resource allocation.
• Developing annual enrollment dashboards and key performance indicators (KPIs) that monitor progress throughout the enrollment funnel and student lifecycle.
• Building a campus-wide culture in which enrollment management is understood as an institutional responsibility shared across academic and administrative divisions.
Executive Leadership and Strategic Enrollment Management
• Serve as the College's chief enrollment officer and senior advisor on enrollment strategy.
• Develop and lead implementation of the institution's Strategic Enrollment Management Plan.
• Chair the Strategic Enrollment Management Working Group.
• Collaborate with the President, Provost, Vice President for Finance and Administration, and other senior leaders to align enrollment strategies with institutional priorities.
• Develop long-term enrollment growth strategies that support mission fulfillment and institutional sustainability.
• Recommend enrollment policies, organizational structures, staffing models, and resource allocations that improve operational effectiveness.
• Build a high-performing enrollment division characterized by accountability, collaboration, innovation, customer service, and continuous improvement.
Recruitment, Admissions, and Enrollment Growth
Provide executive leadership for undergraduate, transfer, graduate, international, and special population recruitment initiatives.
• Develop comprehensive enrollment strategies across all student populations.
• Establish enrollment goals by market segment and academic program.
• Identify emerging enrollment markets and recruitment opportunities.
• Develop targeted recruitment initiatives for under-enrolled academic programs.
• Collaborate with Academic Affairs to support enrollment planning for new academic programs.

Student Success, Retention, and Completion
Provide executive leadership for institutional persistence and graduation initiatives.

Required Qualifications:
