GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIESย  ย 

They areย accountable forย successfulย recruitment and development of high performing networks of MSK specialists and primary care providers across all markets where VBC programs exist and are going to be launchedย subject to establishedย timeframesย andย network breadth requirements.ย ย ย They serve as the ambassador forย HOPCoย clinically integrated networksย with providers and payors.ย ย This role works closely with theย VP,ย VBCย Network Management andย theย VP,ย VBCย Operationsย toย ensure networkย configuration andย executionย isย aligned with program goals.ย ย Additionally, theย Vice President, VBCย Network Developmentย works closely withย otherย keyย members of theย VBCย teamย including clinicalย operations, analytics, and client leadership to design, implement, and continuously improveย network,ย clinicalย andย operationalย strategies that advance value-based care performance nationally.ย 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSย 

Network Recruitmentย Leadership & Strategyย 

  • Establish and lead the nationalย go-to-market and ongoingย network recruitmentย strategy forย MSK VBCย programs, ensuring alignment with organizationalย network targets,ย performanceย objectives,ย payor engagements, and population health goals.ย 
  • Successfully execute network recruitment of primary care and MSK providers toย ensure provider engagement withย HOPCoย value basedย care programs andย integrated care system processes.ย 
  • Work collaboratively with all VBCย functional leads to ensure seamless handoffs as providers onboardย with the shared goals ofย improvedย network engagement, patientย engagement,ย providerย and member experience,ย andย VBC program performance.ย 
  • Establish consistentย operational processes,ย marketingย materialsย and messagingย across regions.ย 
  • Work with Marketingย teamsย toย develop and refine outreach materials to engage providers inย HOPCoย network recruitmentย 
  • Work with Analytics teams to ensure standardized data and reports are readily available to support networkย discussions andย timelyย response to questionsย 
  • Oversee development of presentation materials forย internal meetings with Executive Leadership and the Board.ย 
  • Work withย HOPCoย Legal, VBC CMO, Medical Directors and Clinical Operations teams to supportย compliance with regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, and organizational policies across all markets.ย 
  • Promote a culture of accountabilityย andย continuous improvement throughout the organization.ย 

Provider Engagement & Educationย 

  • Work with VPs of VBCย Network Management, Care Management,ย and Operations as well asย Medical Directorsย and VBC CMOย toย understand and explain strategies andย processes to support provider engagementย andย performance improvement.ย 
  • Ensure coordinatedย executionย ofย national network development andย networkย managementย throughย work with VPย -ย VBC Network Management and VBC CMO.ย 
  • Working withย VBCย leadership team,ย bring network feedback and observations to support continued evolution of incentive programs and reporting to optimize provider recruitment and network performance.ย 
  • Partner withย medical economics,ย network management,ย clinical operations,ย and medical directorย teams toย identifyย opportunities for performance improvement and translate insights into operational actions.ย 

Client & Stakeholder Engagementย 

  • Provideย VBC andย network recruitmentย expertiseย supportย in payer, employer, andย otherย client-facing engagements.ย 
  • Communicateย network development and enrollmentย strategies, performance, and improvement initiatives to executive stakeholdersย and clientsย 

Successย Metricsย 

  • Establish provider network targets within 6 months of program launch and ensure sufficient network enrollment, by market, within 3 months of program launchย 
  • Monitor provider engagement and feedback fromย other members ofย VBCย team to ensure that recruited providers are actively engaged andย supportingย theย HOPCoย program.ย ย ย 

EDUCATIONย ย 

  • Bachelorโ€™sย Degreeย ย 
  • MHA, preferredย 

EXPERIENCEย ย 

  • Minimumย 8 yearsย ofย direct experience with consistently increasing scope and scale of responsibility in healthcare consulting,ย network development,ย providerย engagementย andย value-basedย care programย operations.ย 
  • Experience working with andย engagingย providerย groups inย value-basedย networks and performance enhancement strategiesย ย 

KNOWLEDGEย ย 

  • Extensive knowledge ofย value-basedย care programs,ย network development,ย andย otherย processes within a healthcare organization.ย ย ย 
  • Understandingย ofVBC reimbursement models(populationย health, risk-based models, sharedย savings,ย episodes of care, andย capitation).ย 
  • Knowledge of quality,ย financialย and operationalย metricsย for program successย 
  • Knowledge ofย program operations,ย performanceย andย qualityย improvementย initiatives andย how to develop and implement aย valueย basedย care networkย to support goalsย 
  • Knowledge of provider network structuresย and hierarchy toย most effectively engage with groups and leadershipย ย

  • Executive-level leadership skills withย demonstratedย ability to influence physicians and multidisciplinary teams across complex organizations.ย 
  • Strong analytical and data-interpretation skills withย abilityย to translate insights intoย network recruitmentย strategies.ย

  • Skill in use of CRM tools to effectively track network recruitment activity and resultsย 
  • Skill in evaluation,ย analysis,ย and presentation of data to providersย to promote network enrollment.ย

  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing to various levels of staff.ย
