VP, Product Manager - Identity & Access Management (IAM)

The VP, Product Manager – Identity & Access Management (IAM) leads the strategy, roadmap, and delivery of enterprise IAM capabilities that enable secure, seamless access across LPL’s technology ecosystem. This role operates at the intersection of product, engineering, cybersecurity, risk, and operations to deliver solutions that strengthen controls, improve user experience, and support modernization efforts. The position is responsible for aligning stakeholders, driving execution, and advancing product management maturity within the IAM domain.

Responsibilities
  • Define and evolve the IAM product vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned to business priorities, user needs, and risk considerations.
  • Partner with engineering, architecture, cybersecurity, operations, and business teams to translate strategy into execution plans and measurable outcomes.
  • Lead prioritization of IAM features, enhancements, and platform capabilities based on business value, user impact, operational efficiency, and control requirements.
  • Oversee the full product lifecycle including discovery, roadmap development, delivery, launch, and post-release evaluation.
  • Support delivery through release planning, dependency management, readiness tracking, and stakeholder communication.
  • Monitor product performance, adoption, and feedback to inform roadmap adjustments and continuous improvement.
  • Maintain alignment across teams on priorities, dependencies, and success metrics.
  • Develop and present business cases, roadmap updates, and product insights to senior leadership.
  • Establish and reinforce product management practices, governance, and operating rhythms within the IAM domain.
  • Lead, coach, and develop product management talent to drive accountability and consistency.
  • Maintain awareness of IAM trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory considerations to inform product direction.
  • Partner with technology and control teams to ensure solutions meet standards for performance, resiliency, accessibility, and interoperability.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of product management experience leading enterprise platforms, digital products, or technology-enabled capabilities.
  • Experience defining product strategy and owning roadmaps for complex, internal-facing platforms or shared enterprise capabilities.
  • Experience leading cross-functional initiatives across technology, security, risk, operations, and business stakeholders.
  • Experience overseeing product delivery including roadmap planning, launch readiness, execution support, and post-launch evaluation.
  • Experience building, scaling, or leading product management practices and team capabilities.
Preferences
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presenting strategy, roadmaps, and recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize effectively, evaluate tradeoffs, and deliver outcomes in a highly matrixed environment.
  • Experience in Identity and Access Management, cybersecurity, or enterprise platform domains.
  • Familiarity with IAM concepts such as authentication, authorization, identity lifecycle management, SSO, MFA, access governance, federation, privileged access, and directory services.
  • Exposure to IAM platforms such as Okta, Ping, ForgeRock, or Microsoft Entra ID.
Pay Range

$135,960.00 - $226,600.00 (actual base salary varies based on factors such as skill, experience, education, and geographic location).
