Vice President, Global Pricing & Commercial Finance

Summary

The Vice President, Global Pricing & Commercial Finance is a strategic finance leader responsible for driving profitable growth across Diversified's global business. Reporting directly to the CFO, this role leads the company's pricing strategy, deal governance, commercial financial analysis, treasury operations, liquidity management, and capital planning activities.

This position serves as the primary finance partner to Sales, Operations, Services, and Executive Leadership for complex customer opportunities, ensuring commercial decisions balance revenue growth, margin performance, cash flow, and risk management. The role provides financial leadership for large scale customer pursuits, managed services agreements, project-based engagements, and strategic growth initiatives while maintaining accountability for the company's treasury and capital structure activities.

The successful candidate will possess a strong blend of commercial finance, pricing strategy, treasury management, and executive leadership experience and will be comfortable operating in both strategic and hands-on capacities.

Primary Responsibilities

Deal Support & Pricing Governance

  • Serve as the executive finance lead for strategic customer opportunities, major pursuits, managed services agreements, and complex commercial transactions globally.
  • Partner with Sales, Operations, Services, Legal, and Executive Leadership to structure customer agreements that optimize profitability, cash flow, and long-term value creation.
  • Develop and maintain pricing frameworks, approval matrices, margin thresholds, and commercial governance processes.
  • Review and approve pricing exceptions, discount requests, non-standard commercial terms, and customer specific financial arrangements.
  • Lead financial modeling and scenario analysis for large scale opportunities, including multi-year contracts, service agreements, and technology solutions.
  • Evaluate deal profitability, risk exposure, working capital requirements, and return on investment prior to executive approval.
  • Establish standard methodologies for evaluating gross margin, contribution margin, recurring revenue, and customer lifetime value.
  • Monitor actual contract performance against approved business cases and recommend corrective actions when required.
  • Develop executive reporting and dashboards related to pricing effectiveness, win rates, margin performance, and commercial trends.
  • Support mergers, acquisitions, and strategic investments through financial analysis, valuation support, pricing assessments, integration planning, and treasury readiness activities.

Qualifications

Required Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 12+ years of progressive experience in Commercial Finance, Pricing, Treasury, Corporate Finance, Investment Banking, or related disciplines.
  • 7+ years of leadership experience managing teams and influencing executive level decision making.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting large scale customer opportunities and complex commercial negotiations.
  • Strong understanding of pricing methodologies, financial modeling, profitability analysis, treasury operations, and capital planning.
  • Experience presenting recommendations to executive leadership, boards, lenders, or investors.
  • Experience operating in a global, matrixed organization.

Preferred Experience

  • Technology, systems integration, audiovisual, managed services, professional services, or project-based business experience.
  • Experience supporting private equity-based organizations.
  • Experience with recurring revenue and managed services business models.
  • Certified Treasury Professional (CTP), CPA, CFA, or MBA preferred.
