Mission: The Vice President/Sr Vice President of Sales is a global commercial leader responsible for driving account growth, customer alignment, and long-term strategic partnership for Mattson Technology. This role leads a high-performing global account organization and ensures deep technical and strategic engagement with engineering, supply chain, and executive stakeholders across the customer’s worldwide footprint.

The VP/Sr VP defines and executes the global account strategy, expands specification positions, increases revenue attainment, drives market share growth, ensures margin protection and ensures Mattson Technology’s solutions are aligned with evolving semiconductor technology roadmaps and manufacturing requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Elevate and prioritize the most promising Semiconductor ecosystem providers based on capacity to scale, attract capital, and drive sustained sales offtake, ensuring alignment.
  • Establish and implement the comprehensive Mattson Technology GTM Businessplan involving local and global partners.
  • Drive product share gain and market penetration strategy and execution for the Semiconductor ecosystem monitoring performance, identifying gaps, and recommending data-backed optimizations to enhance offtake.
  • Accountable for delivering sustained growth of revenue and pipeline with the demonstrated ability to close complicated business deals.
  • Collaborate effectively with product, sales, and partnerships teams to maintain alignment on margin protection, priorities and execution.
  • Represent Mattson at strategic industry forums and identify/drive engagement in key ecosystem events to build visibility and partnerships.
  • Translate complex product strategy and technical concepts into simple, compelling narratives tailored specifically for the Semiconductor ecosystem and cloud audiences.
Requirements
  • 15+ years of experience in semiconductor equipment, advanced materials, or related high‑tech manufacturing markets.
  • Proven success with executive relationships including forming strategic partnerships and leading complex deals in matrixed environments.
  • 10+ years of experience in sales/people leadership, including the ability to recruit, empower, and manage sales teams.
  • Relevant Engineering degree (or equivalent experience); Master's/MBA desirable.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% for global engagements and partnership development.
  • Proven knowledge of pricing strategies, channel economics, and influencing business practices and products to better align with customer needs.
