This executive position will define and execute our digital commerce strategy while overseeing ecommerce performance, customer experience, and the digital technology roadmap. Partnering across Marketing, IT, Product, Creative, and Sales, the Vice President will build scalable digital capabilities that strengthen our premium brand and drive profitable growth.

How success is defined:

  • Develop and execute on a differentiated vision and strategy for Visual Comfort & Co. to rapidly achieve multi-fold growth in the main ecommerce KPI’s (revenue, traffic, orders, AOV, customers, contribution margin) across online customer segments (Consumer, Trade and Wholesale) while upholding brand standards and profitability objectives.
  • Own the digital commerce roadmap and end-to-end customer experience, partnering with Marketing, Creative, IT, and Product Teams to deliver exceptional digital experiences, differentiated merchandising, and profitable growth.
  • Oversee digital merchandising operations, ensuring product information, digital assets, metatdata, and customer facing content are accurate, optimized, and scalable.
  • Partner with Marketing to optimize digital demand generation and marketing operations across email, SMS, performance marketing, and customer lifecycle initiatives to drive acquisition, retention, and revenue growth.
  • Lead SEO, CRO, experimentation, personalization, and emerging AI capabilities to improve customer engagement, search visibility, site merchandising, and digital performance.
  • Lead cross-functional digital initiatives while evaluating emerging technologies, customer insights, and market trends to continuously improve the customer experience and strengthen the VCC competitive advantage.
  • Serve as a key member of the Marketing Leadership Team, regularly presenting ecommerce performance, initiatives, investment recommendations, and customer insights to executive leadership.
  • Build, lead, and develop a high-performing ecommerce organization focused on innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
What you will bring:
  • 10+ years of ecommerce leadership experience, including back-end and front-end responsibilities, with a proven track record of delivering results.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marke ti ng, Business Administration, or a related field required. MBA preferred.
  • Salesforce platform/systems, Adobe, GA4, Bloomreach experience proffered.
  • Has led ecommerce optimization, replatforming, personalization/segmentation, product management, analytics, SEO, and/or development programs.
  • Prior responsibility for site revenue/P&L. Strong commercial mindset.
  • Understands the importance of the site in building the brand; can balance the art and science of site merchandising and performance optimization.
  • Uses data to drive decision making; tracks, analyzes, and manages big data and site metrics; makes data-driven decisions to improve site performance.
  • Strong leadership of people and managing to executive team.
  • Ability to manage teams within Visual Web Merchandising Specialist, Web Data Manager, SEO Specialist, eCommerce Digital Merchant, DAM Librarian, Email Marketing Manager
  • Compassionate leader that will build consensus and collaboration.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Compensation Range: $265,000 - $275,000 plus 20% scale bonus opportunity

Compensation is based on individual factors, including skill set, relevant experience, and work location.
