Job description



An asset management firm in New York City is seeking a VP, Head of CRM Technology to join their team in Midtown Manhattan. This player-coach role combines hands-on CRM and data architecture leadership with team mentoring, stakeholder partnership, and ownership of the Salesforce ecosystem and related data platforms.


About the Opportunity:




  • Shift: Day




  • Schedule: Monday to Friday




  • Hours: Standard business




  • Setting: Hybrid (at least 4 days onsite)




Responsibilities:




  • Own the strategy, architecture, and roadmap for the CRM technology ecosystem




  • Lead hands-on development and technical oversight across Salesforce and related data applications




  • Manage CRM data integrations, including inbound and outbound data flows and enterprise interfaces




  • Oversee CRM data architecture, including master data management, warehousing, and analytics platforms




  • Partner with senior stakeholders and mentor the CRM development team while coordinating with vendors and business leaders




Qualifications:




  • 10+ years of experience in CRM or Data Application Development




  • Hands-on experience with C#, Python, .NET Core, and SQL Server




  • Deep knowledge of Salesforce integration patterns, including REST, SOAP, Bulk API, Platform Events, and CDC




  • Experience with Azure App Services, Azure SQL, Microsoft Fabric, ETL patterns, and advanced SQL




  • Experience leading technical teams and communicating effectively with executive and senior business stakeholders




  • Experience with CI/CD practices across Salesforce environments




Desired Skills:





  • Salesforce certification





  • Exposure to Salesforce Apex, LWC, and Flow




  • Background in asset management or hedge fund environments




  • Experience with Databricks, Snowflake, Azure DevOps, microservices, job schedulers, or MDM concepts




  • Knowledge of portfolio management data and CRM object models
