We're seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Credit Risk (Intraday Risk) to join our Credit Risk team. This role is located in Pittsburgh, PA
In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:Â
- The Vice President, Credit Risk is a pivotal role within the Risk & Regulatory Compliance function, specifically focusing on the Credit Risk family.Â
- This role is responsible for evaluating and managing credit risks associated with the organization's diverse portfolio.Â
- Through rigorous analysis and risk assessment, the position supports BNY's strategic pillars of safeguarding client interests and ensuring financial stability.Â
- By adhering to BNY's principles of integrity and accountability, the role contributes to building a resilient risk management framework.Â
- Conduct comprehensive credit risk assessments by leveraging expertise in financial analysis and risk evaluation to identify potential risks and opportunities.
- Develop and implement robust risk management strategies, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and organizational risk appetite.Â
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate risk management practices across business units, enhancing the overall risk culture within BNY.Â
- Monitor and report on credit risk exposures, using advanced analytical tools to provide actionable insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Support the development of credit risk policies and procedures, ensuring they reflect industry best practices and regulatory standards.
- Facilitate continuous improvement in risk management processes by staying informed of market trends and emerging risks.
To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:Â
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field - Professional certifications in risk management or financial analysis are advantageous Â
- 5-7 years of experience - Credit risk experience preferred.Â
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess complex financial scenariosÂ
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholdersÂ
- Proficiency in risk management software and financial analysis tools
