About the Job

Are you excited by the opportunity to build something extraordinary?

Together, UGL and Vice Golf are entering the next stage of growth in the United States. As Vice Golf's dedicated US commercial partner, UGL is building a high-performing sales organization to accelerate one of the most exciting brands in golf.

We're looking for an experienced Head of Sales US who is passionate about building teams, developing long-term retail partnerships, and turning strategy into execution. Working closely with Vice Golf HQ in Munich, you'll help shape the future of the brand in the US market by translating global direction into a strong local plan, and then making sure it gets executed with excellence by the team on the US ground.

This role combines both worlds: strategic collaboration with Vice Golf HQ / UGL and hands-on operational leadership in the US market. You will define priorities together with HQ, adapt them where needed for the US market, and lead the local team to deliver results.

If you enjoy taking ownership, building businesses, and working with ambitious people on both sides of the Atlantic, we'd love to meet you.

Working Model

This role is based in the United States, employed by UGL, and dedicated to the Vice Golf business in the US market. You can be based anywhere in the United States. What matters is your ability to travel as needed to meet customers, support the team, and represent Vice Golf across the US market. The role reports into the UGL organization with a strong dotted-line relationship to Vice Golf HQ in Munich (Vice Golf Global Head of Sales). Success in this position depends on close collaboration, transparency, and consistent execution of Vice Golf's global commercial strategy while adapting it where appropriate to local US market conditions.

The Head of Sales US acts as the extended commercial arm of Vice Golf HQ in the United States: HQ defines the global frame, strategy, brand direction, and go-to-market principles; the US team translates, adapts, and executes locally.

Your Fairway
  • Lead and grow the Vice Golf business in the United States, taking full commercial ownership across our green grass wholesale channel (i.e. Pro Shops, Golf Specialty, and other relevant retail channels).
  • Translate Vice Golf's global commercial strategy, go-to-market direction, brand standards, and sales priorities into a clear and actionable US market plan.
  • Build, own, and execute the US 3-year sales and channel plan, with a strong focus on green grass, pro shops, retail account development, door growth, and long-term brand building.
  • Act as the main strategic and commercial counterpart between UGL and Vice Golf HQ, ensuring constant alignment, strong communication, and disciplined execution.
  • Lead the US sales organization dedicated to Vice Golf, including close collaboration with the US Field Sales & Operations Manager, UGL leadership, and Vice Golf HQ.
  • Own US sales targets, forecasting, sell-in planning, performance tracking, and KPI reporting while ensuring transparency and accountability towards UGL and Vice Golf HQ.
  • Develop and execute local US sales programs, trade terms, sell-in stories, and commercial initiatives in line with Vice Golf's global strategy, pricing principles, and brand positioning.
  • Adapt global Vice Golf strategies where needed to fit the realities of the US market, while protecting the brand, commercial direction, and long-term omnichannel vision.
  • Drive the development of the US green grass and pro shop business by improving rep execution, customer engagement, account planning, and local market intelligence.
  • Turn strategic priorities into clear operational actions for the local US team, ensuring strong follow-through, execution discipline, and measurable results.
  • Ensure strong collaboration with Vice Golf HQ teams including Sales, Marketing, Product, Operations, Purchasing, and Customer Experience to support a best-in-class US go-to-market approach.
  • Represent Vice Golf externally in the US market through key customer meetings, trade shows, strategic partner meetings, sales meetings, and commercial activations.
  • Build a strong performance culture in the US team based on ownership, accountability, transparency, execution discipline, and passion for the Vice Golf brand.
Your Scorecard
  • Senior sales or commercial leadership experience, ideally within golf, sporting goods, consumer goods, lifestyle, wholesale, or premium brand environments.
  • Proven experience in building and scaling sales structures, retail channels, green grass business, pro shop networks, key accounts, or field sales organizations.
  • Strong understanding of the US golf market, including reps, pro shops, green grass, specialty retail, distributors, and commercial partner structures.
  • Excellent commercial acumen with the ability to translate strategy into execution, targets, programs, forecasts, and measurable business results.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience guiding teams, reps, partners, or external stakeholders without always having direct reporting authority.
  • Ability to act as a trusted bridge between a local US organization and an international brand HQ.
  • Strong strategic thinking combined with a hands-on execution mindset.
  • Experience in omnichannel environments and understanding of how wholesale, retail, field sales, digital channels, and brand building need to work together.
  • Strong analytical mindset with experience in sales planning, forecasting, reporting, KPI tracking, and business reviews.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills across senior leadership, internal teams, reps, distributors, and retail partners.
  • Comfortable operating in a dynamic, fast-growing, and entrepreneurial business environment with high ownership and accountability.
  • Passion for golf and a strong understanding of golf equipment, retail dynamics, and the US golf ecosystem.
  • Fluent in English
Our Clubhouse

At UGL, we believe strong performance should be recognized and rewarded. This role offers a competitive compensation package with meaningful performance-based upside and the opportunity to play a key role in building Vice Golf's future in the United States.

  • Competitive base salary of $140,000-$165,000 USD, based on experience.
  • Annual performance bonus of up to 30% of base salary, tied to US sales growth, profitability, channel development, and key strategic objectives.
  • Health, dental, and vision benefits.
  • 4 weeks paid vacation, plus company holidays.
  • Company-provided laptop or technology allowance.
  • Vehicle allowance or mileage reimbursement for business-related travel.
  • All approved business travel expenses covered, including airfare, hotels, rental vehicles, mileage, and meals.
  • Flexible, field-based working model, with the ability to work remotely when not traveling, meeting customers, or attending company events.
  • Vice Golf product allowance and employee product benefits.
  • Access to and participation in major golf industry events, trade shows, tournaments, customer experiences, and strategic partner meetings.
  • Direct collaboration with senior leadership at UGL and Vice Golf HQ in Munich.
  • Significant opportunity for career growth and increased responsibility as the Vice Golf business expands throughout the United States.
